I am guessing not, since the fork cover of the Dominar is of the same equal diameter to the USD fork outer tube? Please update me on this.

    1) 29th July registered is fine but what is the manufactured year and month?
    2) Is it a ABS model?
    3) What is final cost of brand new bike in your city right now(exclude the 3/5years insurance thing)?, since the price varies significantly from state to state.

If you are coming from a lower CC commuter bikes, on first time riding these bikes feeling that the steering is heavy is a common thing, you'll get used to it.
    Thanks,

I could not see documents as he was not having it on hand, so don't know about year of manufaring, but on RTO registration web site i saw year and time of registration.

THIS IS 2017 MODEL, MATT BLACK, 2017 model was offered to me by dealership in Sept for Rs. 177000 including 1 year insurance. Later there has been price rise and insurance of 3/5 years.

This one is abs, i want to buy abs only.

WOW! That's some amount right there , I did not expect be so much!

Any specific reason for the upgrade, apart for aesthetics and looks?
Also, do you feel any difference to the ride quality, overall braking and steering feedback and diving in of the front-end on braking?

        Thanks

Yah felt lots of difference from the stock fork, now the front end is much responsive and stable, as I have non abs version the brakes have improved a lot from the stock caliper, riding with this setup for more then one year, even my friends and other Dominar rider felt the difference.

Hey I wanted to ask if there are some parts that can be removed from the Dominar to shed some of it's weight and make it just a tad quicker? Thanks.

Straight forward answer will be NO. Reason why Dominar is heavy is coz of steel perimeter frame.

If it is pickup that you are looking to improve marginally, you could try changing to bigger or smaller front and/or rear sprockets. But mind you, improvement will only be minor increase in acceleration. You could also install powertronic ECU. That being said cost will not justify changes for very wee bit improvement.

Dominar is already a naked bike!
Nothing you can remove to shade weight. But you can replace them with custom light weight parts instead. Which will cost sky high.

I feel Dominar is Perfect for its size and weight ratio.
That's what keep it stable on highways.

CarToq.com: Royal Enfield Himalayan OUTSELLS Bajaj Dominar.

The Dominar 400 was introduced in 2016 as Baja tried to take on the might of the Royal Enfield's cruiser motorcycles. However, if September's sales are anything to go by, the Dominar is failing to take on even the problematic Himalayan in the Indian motorcycle market.

Nothing new there, Indian crowd likes a WW2 era shit design for no reason. Buying a bikr above 1lac, people assume RE is a better choice. Even those idiots who haven't even rode a bike ever, think RE is a safe and performance vehicle. It's more of a herd mentality.

I never liked RE...I hate the sound that it makes, feel like throw something and it and make it shut.. But then that's just me...

I wouldn't totally agree to it. People like RE for some reason thy buy it , Most prefer design of the bike to be on top priority and other feel for performance or few for top speed . Like wise those who prefer RE go for RE.

And for your info now even they are improving on the technology , Now every RE bike comes with ABS, BS4 standards . Not sure just by design if its old why people are saying its Old era bikes. It all depends on the design of the bike. Its a commuter bike its designed to run over long distance in comfort .

I'm not supporting any bike here , even i own Dominar not RE but i dont hate RE or any bikes, Surely wont criticize any bikes for sure , Don't spread negatives rather accept that fact. Maybe once bajaj new version can overtake RE in sales count..

And please stop generalizing stuff like " INDIAN CROWD" n shit , are you from anywhere outside INDIA ??

I am 5.4 ft and can take tight right and left hand u turns at crawling speed in 1st amd 2nd gear without putting my feets down. The turning radius is best among all the other bajaj's and infact better or at par with the rivals. Handling is like breeze coz of the superb chassis and frame.

How bad is it to rev the engine upto 6 to 6.5k rpm during idle. Engine temperature was hot. I didn't do it on cold engine.

PS. I was trying to find a source of rattling noise.
