Does switching to Motul 7100 oil void the warranty?
I think the sound is coming from the vibration of horn ( at certain rpm range)
I have same issue and this is what i have deducted by keeping the vehicle in stand and revving it up to that particular RPM

These clamps are from Sahyadri. I bought the Visor from them, along with the clamp.

Sorry I tried to paste the link but couldn't so you can google "Bajaj Dominar 400" and in the news section, its on the first link.

In that it says according to IAB reports, company is planning to launch the new Dominar in November 2018

How much can we trust on this?

I doubt that you need to adjust your tappet nuts, I hope you dont hear the knocking sound, Also the next few months being summer time..it's best not to tighten these nuts.. even if there's slight play it's ok. If it's tighten your engine will heat up more. Though, in both of my services service advisor didnt suggest to tighten the nuts.

It's actually done if a complete engine work is done.. like replacement of pistons...crankshaft..piston rings etc .. If god forbid engine work was done then it's best to adjust the tappet nuts after 600-700 kms along with replacement of engine oil [/QUOTE]

Tappet clearance is not possible, I was also confused, when to do that. Even Bajaj service dealer told me to do it if noise is coming😁.. But it is not possible to do tappet adjustment, there is no nut to tight .. it is shims

Give me a reduction in weight of around 20 Kg and a smoother engine. That is what the Dominar needs. USD is not a premium feature for me at least.

Don't know about how many kilos the bike will loose but of it gets a dohc setup then it will definitely be smoother.

Weight reduction on Dominar 400 is impossible until and unless Bajaj moves away from perimeter frame to trellis frame.

Trellis frame are made from lightweight chromium-molybdenum. For example dukes or rc. Cost for production of trellis frame is far greater than say perimeter frame.

Dominar 400 is equipped with a pressed steel perimeter frame which is significantly heavier and cheaper to make, hence low cost.

                                Totally agree on this part.
Perimeter frame does provide very good handling and stability but also carries more weight than say a trellis frame.
