Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Thanks for the video man. Now this is good. I guess we can see a lot more of these test vehicles on the Expressway from here on. Since Diwali is too soon, i think we could expect a launch around December maybe?Originally posted by neeljinwala View Post

It's not my bike. It's R15 4 years old so it's already out of warranty. I just want to know the cost to see if he conned my friend or not.Originally posted by ayrus View PostDid he cut a wire?? Was it from the SVC?? Chances are that, if the stock wiring of a bike is modified, the warranty of the bike is void.

Never try to modify the wiring in a way it cannot be obtained to same original configuration(Don't cut any wire). if he can extend the wire and directly connect it to battery that should be fine. Or i feel connecting it to the Key socket inter-junction is ideal way as it only gets power supply when ur bike is ON, i mean when bike is parked others cant misuse the charging port. as if bike is not running and you unknowingly utilize the battery then bike wont start which is not a good sign.Originally posted by NirmalDushman View PostIt's not my bike. With a little elbow grease and a person knowing what he's doing definitely yes. But, pulling the fuses out does the same thing either. But, I wouldn't recommend both. ABS not being switchable is a good thing in my opinion. With so many ducklings taking to motorcycling little do they realize which brakes works better, let alone their skills. With that in mind, I think it's far safer to have it switched on all the time.Originally posted by Rawmonger View PostHey guys, quick question. Can a switch be installed after market to make the dominar abs switchable?

I have an idea!!Originally posted by Rawmonger View PostHey guys, quick question. Can a switch be installed after market to make the dominar abs switchable?
Pull out the ABS fuse and connect a switch across it. Bingo!!! You have switchable ABS. Preferably, connect the ABS fuse in the wire to the switch so that you'll also have the fuse. I don't own a Dominar or know where the ABS fuse is located but in theory, this is the best thing to do and it should work perfectly.

yes they will loot you if you don't bargain properly. And a simple cheap nana peth usb charger is DIY thing. there's nothing in wiring that you don't understand. But with little 'pehchan' will do the magic (free installing)Originally posted by NirmalDushman View PostIt's not my bike. It's R15 4 years old so it's already out of warranty. Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Ducklings, haha! Why would one want to switch ABS off, to get more grip under off-road conditions? How much of such adventure riding do people actually do, and the ones meant for ADV riding specifically have ABS switch for the purpose. You're right to point out that it should be ON all the time.Originally posted by B7ACKTHORN View PostWith a little elbow grease and a person knowing what he's doing definitely yes.
