U are not checking it properly then. Warm up the engine for 10minutes. Then let it rest a little now straighten the bike wait for oil to come down then check. On cold engine it won't show the level.

Anywhere between 120-130kmph on speedo, depending on weight and wind conditions.

After threatening the popular Bajaj people with consumer complaint and talking to the sales head of Karnataka my bike was taken into service for 3 days saying they'll investigate the matter .

When I asked Bajaj what was wrong the exact words they said was " the pin in the carburetor was defective we have replaced it " . They refused to divulge any more information . If anyone could please elaborate what exactly is that ' pin ' and what was wrong with the vehicle I would appreciate.

Overall finally my bike has got rid of all problems and now I can finally ride the bike with peace of mind

Glad that your Issue is resolved. But why did you post in Dominar Thread?? This is a fuel injected bike.
Why distract others? We all know you had an issue, but that doesn't mean you post it where ever you like.

My apologies if I have offended you sir but I had posted this problem in Dominar thread and we had long discussions about it and some riders had asked me to update about the issue. If I have to stick only to the thread of the bike i own fine I am sorry I disturbed you all Dominar riders

Actually I had the same issue on my dominar that he faced on his NS. So he decided to post it here to check if the problem could be the same. He knew that dominar is FI and his is carb, but the desperation to get a fix, especially if it is a new bike is really hard and he might have done it due to that.
                So chill

Two issues m facing with my bike..1st the coolant level dipped to the minimum mark from half..and 2nd bike moves without any throttle in every gear..which is quite strange..u upshift the gear and speed of the bike gradually increases (30kmph on 4th gear). My bike completed 630km on the odo..and the 1st service is due..which ill get done very soon..how serious are these issues..?? Should i park the bike in the garage till i take it to svc..??

Loosen the four screws and move adjust the handlebar forward till you are comfortable.
Make sure you are seated on the bike while doing this.

After this adjustment, the lever clamps need to be adjusted to be in the same plane as your palm.

The riding position becomes more upright if the handlebar is moved forward. I felt better control as well.

The adjustment is specific to each rider, based on height, arm length and posture preference.

Try different setup until you are comfortable.

                        Cheers.
Thanks for this. Helps a lot. Kinda bummed though about not being able to adjust the switchgear.

If the the coolant level is below minimum then avoid riding it. And do check the oil colour and level, if is looks like coffee and has a little frothy layer on top, in cold engine the oil level is around top mark, it means coolant making love with it. And u will need a head gasket change. Don't ride in above condition.
For throttle issue , get the throttle body cleaned up for carbon deposit and get the ecu reflashed.
For a fact in new engine the coolant level getting low is normal before first service.
And brother 630kms done no service, what are u waiting for Christmas, get it done asap don't wait for 700 or 750, first service should be done early, in fact all three services should be done on time.
And do get a oil change at all 3 services foe better health of engine.

So what is the issue here, colour won't affect the problem stop worrying. Enjoy the ride and congrats.

Have clocked 3000 kilometers on the ODO till date. My commute is a 20 kilometer highway ride and another 10 negotiating the Powai traffic in Mumbai. I am so glad that I opted for Dominar as opposed to a Pulsar 180 that I had thought to buy earlier. The bike is heavy which works for me on the highway as I feel its more stable at high speeds. I do mostly 70-80 km/hr on the highway.

One thing I've noticed is whenever I accelerate, there is a squeaky noise coming from the bike. I thought it was the tank first, but it isn't. I then grew more suspicious about it when while riding, I removed my left foot from its usual position near the brake footpeg only to find the sound amplified when accelerating. This only happens when I am above 30 km/hr. I've tried riding in the parking lot at lesser speeds and the sound isn't audible. Any one face the same thing?

As you said "left foot" i think you are talking about gear lever side near front sprocket. DON'T WORRY. I do get this sound when my dominar's chain gets dirty / dried up. Whenever i get this sound i clean and lube the chain. After that sound vanishes. I think you should clean and lube your chain. Don't rely on bajaj service center guyz. You can clean and lube the chain by yourself. Its a simple DIY. You need some kerosene and a good quality chain lube. Presently i am using kerosene to clean the chain and motul chain lube for lubing.
