Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Standard accessories package must be around 1100 bucks is always included in the final price of the bike and is over the ex showroom, for bajaj it is 1100 includes mirrors and Saree guard, leg guard. And every manufacturer charge for this in India. U need to push hard to get it for free.Originally posted by kmnoufel17 View PostHi, I'm new to this thread
Planning to buy this month
Have a few queries
1)The dealer in my place says the dominar comes without mirrors, saree guard nd crash guard
All these are extra accessories and its being charged extra
Is that the case ?
2) My family has a strong feeling that bajaj has serious quality issues
Can someone tell me a few points which can make me have a hope on bajaj's quality
I paid for it when i purchased Domi in jan2017 and also 2014 for avenger.
Other owners must have skipped noticing it. But is mostly charged.
I paid 168250 on road including everything in Jan2017.Can not be fixed same goes with all performance bikes. It would reduce the GC and knock on the converter box.Originally posted by shrikantspillai View PostNo centre stand

How does it feels coming from 2-stroke?
Do let us know if the windshield does the job properly
It doesn't matter what you ride. What matters is, You Ride.

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Hi guys. I have been riding a bajaj dominar for 8 months now in Bangalore. I am having lots of problems with the heavy weight of the bike and height as well. I usually end up getting a very bad backache after riding for 40 mins in city traffic.
I have managed to sort out some of the problems with the riding posture by increasing the height of the handle which has made the posture a little less aggressive now. However, I still feel that the seating height is a little too high for me still. Also, both me and pillion have felt that the seats are a little too hard for long use for which reason have not had the confidence to go on long tours still.
I want to change the seat into something softer and also lower the seat height so that I get a better grip of the bike and a more comfortable position too. Please advise on these ground where I can go to get these modifications done in Bangalore.

Get handle bar 25 mm spacers from viaterra or carbon racing. Was facing similar problems. They helped a lot especially in traffic.Originally posted by ultimodgr8 View PostHi guys. Also try changing how you sit. Hug the tank tight with hips and slight body weight on legs. Sit further down the seat. Keep less tension in arms. That way you won't keep the neck locked in the and position.
After 10 - 12000 kms, the rear mono shock will get softer and which is so much better than before. Earlier i felt every bump. HTH.
