So no extra counter balancer to generate more power right? The dominar doesn't seem to be all that powerful as seen on the spec sheet when ridden. Agree?

Well the point was, why can't we have a refined machine with better specs like dohc? Is not abt comparing the dominar with Duke. What I mentioned earlier was even a high revving bike that can act as a track tool is better than a cruiser. Also this engine is evolved from the 390 engine. That's why the mention.
    Hi Fellow Rider,

I empathise with you and without getting into a war of words I would suggest you do what I do to reduce the vibes. Just wear very good quality gear whenever you can. Trust me on this, a good set of protective gloves (tad expensive) and decent biking shoes and thick pants will help alleviate the vibes. Yes they will still be there but thankfully you will not feel them as much.

I have been doing this since the past few weeks and simply wearing the glove daily has helped a lot.

    Hope this helps.

Yeah I agree with that. I ride 20-80 city-highway ratio. I always have full gear on while riding on highways. It's just that the vibes are annoying in the lower gears until 4th. And in 5th and 6th gear while cruising I don't mind the minor vibes.
        Ride Safe!

        Cheers,

friends i am booking black dominar next week from pune, i will be using it as a daily commute. I am upgrading from Avenger,it worked great as a daily commuter (hinjewadi to aundh to and fro daily) & all nearby spots. I have taken a good 2-3 km test ride & was might impressed with dominar. Will it be a good option for daily commuting mostly in city? Good option to upgrade from Avenger?

              Brother
I do the same everyday, Pashan to Hinjewadi and back everyday. I have done the wipro circle to highway jams and the infamous motocross to phase 3 on Dominar.
And enjoyed every moment of it.

Dominar isn't designed by keeping urban jungle in mind. Avenger is extremely relaxed. Even a 5 feet tall guy can sit at ease. Weight is manageable and sitting in traffic is as good as it can get. Only if there was an Avenger 400. (Wake up boy!!)
Dominar is a good bike. But your purpose will be solved by literally any other bike.. worst possible pick would be dominar. And yet again, I know you are going to but it. Because you just have to.

Agree on some points. Folks ride with a bullet in Hinjewadi traffic cause they can and they want to. So does some chick on a scooty right beside along with a dude on an avenger. It all boils down to a personal choice and what your budget allows.
I have a friend who cuts thru traffic on a bullet classic better than anyone else. Not only his skills but also the thumping scares many a rider into hesitation and he cuts and pulls through the gap.
No jam lasts forever. At some point you pull away in style and at times you get honked at.
Your choice : What would you rather be on while in between one jam to another.

Hello Domi owners from Chennai please suggest bajaj dealer who offer best sale and after sale service. I reside in avadi my rto region comes in ponamalle. Around 10 km radius there is mohteej bajaj in kattupakkam and kln bajaj in ambattur. . I heard jai bajaj in adayar and khivraaj bajaj are better in service but it is located far away from my place. . So please suggest should I book domi in mohteej Bajaj/kln bajaj or jai bajaj/ khivraaj? . Also if I get bike from adayar what about rto registration process.. . . Sorry for posting amateur queries..

I somehow disagree here i use domi in very heavy traffic of delhi without any discomfort i am 5.4fts and 60kg only my previous bike was Avenger. But i have ridden heavier bikes this is my 9th two wheeler overall and 7th bike and it has by far the best chassis and suspension balance which can be found on a Indian bike.

I bought my bike from Mohteej Bajaj, kattupakkam and they delivered much before the date they committed. However, their service is pathetic. Done all free service at Mohteej and planning to do next service at Jai Bajaj, adayar.
