Guys my dominar had an issue at 2780 Kms there was oil leakage from crank case ; it was repaired and then they gave me the bike saying that it'll be alright , now it has run almost 5900 Kms i.e; almost 3150 Kms after crank case replacement now the engine shut off automatically when I was riding it at normal city limits , with a cracking sound and the bike is not starting also ; guys here response is not so good ; 2 times my bike's engine has been disassembled completely and almost all components in the engine have lost their efficiency ; so I'm requesting team dominar n Bajaj team to please give me the bike replacement ; so please help me guys , if anyone of u know anybody from Bajaj factory r company please do contact them n help me - Hubli [KARNATAKA](32)

Try the consumer court route as it is the best way to get settlement and these day it is the consumer who is winning. Sad to know about ur troubles.

Have you raised this as as issue with Bajaj managers. Not just the SC. With all the social media ads they are posting, you do the same on a war footing till you get replacement.

Engine oil replacement should have been done at 5k odo. Was this ignored?

Crank case replacement does not mean engine overhaul.

Can you see oil in the oil sump window?

It's unlikely that your engine has seized. The low oil pressure warning should have come up.
This is probably an engine overheating issue. Perhaps the fan stopped working or the coolant went dry.

You will have to log a complaint with Bajaj customer care.
Either a warranty or an insurance claim will be made. Getting a new bike is impossible, given the circumstances.

Now a days consumer courts are very strong Bajaj should definitely replace the entire engine block with a new one. sent a letter asking for a complete replacement and file a case in consumer court now a days you can do it on-line without a lawyer
Put the entire episode in the dominar official face book page I think it will do the job.

Hi fellow riders/owners,

I know I am late to the show in terms of the ECU update but I finally completed my second service this morning. This included an ECU update and this has really changed some of the characteristics of the bike.

I didnt face any stalling issues but I felt the pick up in the first 3 gears has increased substantially. Did not face any throttle lags so far but can only be sure after a few days of usage. Also the vibrations felt a lot less. This is probably due to the chain lubrication.

One side effect is that the engine braking has become much stronger in the first 3 gears and I will have to re calibrate my riding style to it.

I have ridden only 15 kms with the new set up today and it remains to be seen what other changes if any are on the other side of this update.

Not a single tail tidy kit available yet. Can someone confirm if they made this change now?
The only aesthetic part I dont like about Dominar is that ugly plastic looking fender, which doesnt even work well in rain.
NS200 has a decent one but I dont think it will be a direct fit.

This look UN finished version. The way they show in auto expo is even better. . I have seen many domi owners cut off the tail portion below number plates, leaving the red reflecter.

Correct me if I m wrong but they don't cut off the portion rather that portion can be removed by unscrewing the 2 screws✌🏼✌🏼

It looks like a cut. I believe due to RTO regulation they extended tail part.

Way they show in Auto expo vs production version..

Auto expo and production version tail is very similar with only one little piece below the number plate is bolted extra in final version and it can be removed without cutting but if u need the whole mudgaurd gone the cut is needed, And on the expo version grab rails are fixed the other way which is easy to do.

P.S. DO NOT QUOTE THE ENTIRE PICTURE SET. Remove all pics before quoting.

Means once removed it cannot be reinstalled ✌🏼✌🏼
