Well, depends on when you are getting the air filled.
If you fill before you ride your bike, go with 29/32 PSI. (Cold Air Pressure)

If you are filling air after riding, the air pressure inside would be more due to expansion.
So go with 1 PSI more than recommended.

    Hope it helps.

Dear Fellow Riders, I got the delivery of my Dominar 400 last Friday.
The bike is amazing. few glitches are there like higher Idling and rough engine. I know it will settle in due course of time. Odo reading as of now is 97kms.Reached a speed of 70Kmph only. Will ask you veterans if I come up with any Doubts.

Wish me good luck with my Snow Bear.
Congrats sir, Did you pay handling charges to the dealer?

Or maybe dealership specific, trying to fleece customers.. Better check with other dealers as well.

Don't know if you can deny it or not... You can ask them what it is for and then decide.

Yes I paid. But I took the insurance on my own for 3 years. So saved the 2500rs on Insurance.

The price itself is higher in Jai Bajaj. the OTR in Khivraj bajaj Mount Road is 174939/- only. The price differs from Dealer to dealer.

                      Please don't pay additional amount.

Given the bike for checking the stalling issue at the service center.
Will update once I get it back.

                        Cheers.
Bike came back after cleaning the throttle body. The stalling is reduced.
Service engineer claims that bad fuel could cause deposits on throttle body.

Also, there is a idling adjustment on the throttle body, but it is not recommended to be adjusted as ECU takes care of idling RPM.
Service engineer recommended not to adjust anything as the mileage is good (30+) at this point.

                        Cheers.

But tyres were coping up just fine. Sure these aren't slicks but they do carry decent grip.

                          BTW.. have you watched this?

Hi, apart from the regular check-up, I suggest a few more checks.
                          1) check the right side (that circular cover at the extreme right of the engine) for any oil leakage. Bajaj has still not managed to fix it for me.
                          2) release the throttle at 10kmph and listen to the sound of the engine. If you hear anything apart from chain rattle and engine sound, refrain from picking it up. My bike has been producing strange rubbing sound from clutch and yet again.. no fix provided.
                          3) I would suggest that you verify that new ECU update is already done.
                          4) notice clutch play. 1-2 mm gap should be present.
                          5) check coolant and oil level (including the break oil bank).
                          6) this might seem odd but do not let them peel off the plastic. You'll need it in future to cut the exact marking.. when you choose to use better screen protector.
                          7) Take a short spin and let her do 4.5k RPM. If you can live with the vibration now, you'll be alright after 1st service. Unfortunately.. my dominar.. too bad.
                          8) You are buying a premium bike from not so premium seller. Don't laugh it out. Be thorough.
Hi Bro, Yep I 've watched the video. It's from my locality. It's really tough on heavy showers and the rider really showed excellent skills besides its zig-zag laps and limited road width. The tyre grip is remarkably good.

My bike is giving me a mileage of 20kmpl i.e 200km in a full tank...full tank as in it fills up with 10litre of fuel.
My exhaust is making a weird noise... do you guys think that can be a reason behind such mileage?
Bike has done 2000kms+ on odo

Hey mate. Have you checked/calculated FE earlier and did you get fuel filled from your trusted fuel pump?
There could be many reasons why you got lower FE number this time.
                              Regards,

I've filled in from various pumps.. And got this same FE on many cycles now.. Only thing noticed is BP speed felt little smoother on engine... I'll post a video showing exhaust noise later today
