Dear Fellow Riders, I got the delivery of my Dominar 400 last Friday.
The bike is amazing. few glitches are there like higher Idling and rough engine. I know it will settle in due course of time. Odo reading as of now is 97kms.Reached a speed of 70Kmph only. Will ask you veterans if I come up with any Doubts.

Wish me good luck with my Snow Bear.

Well, the service engineer suggests to update if your bike has any throttle lag issues.

I had mine updated last week. The bike stalls couple of times every-time I take it out before it warms.
There is noticeable difference in the way the bike behaves.

I would suggest to take it after the first 1000 Kms run-in.

          Cheers.

I'm not happy with the performance of tyres specially when road conditions change...today i was riding it in rain...i didn't even lean..was taking a long curve to get off the highway and bam rear tyre went out of line twice.. For a moment i thought I'm gonna fall or slide but i somehow managed.
And it is not the first time it happened..
Lemme know what you guys think of it
Shall i change my tyres to something better...
I mean even if I'm not leaning..it was just a tiny tiny incline to the left how could the tyre can go out of line?

I agree. But don't know if pilot street radial or diablo rosso are better?

I am not sure but new KTM Duke 390 metzeler are direct fit to Dominar.
                    Experts please advice

Does anyone know whether the KTM grips will fir dominar. Id like to change the grips because they're too small for my hands.

Post ECU update the engine stalls annoyingly for the initial 10 minutes. Possibly due to low idling rpm.
                            I see the rpm between 1k and 1.5 k.

After 10 minutes, it does not stall.

Does anyone know how to adjust idling rpm in Dominar?

                            Thanks in Advance.

Cannot be adjusted manually , it's all linked to ecu .. the ideal rpm is 1600.. which is the normal.. there are some bikes which has faced the stalling issue. Ride it for a day or two, part aggressive part gentle .. let it settle.. though technically speaking ..once the update is done it should behave according to the cpmmand given by the new software.. but sometimes in some bike it takes time.. Now what happens if even after 2-3 days ou still undergo the stalling issue.. Unfortunately, you will have to re visit the service center ..and tell the head technicall depatment that the ecu update wasn't done properly..and they will have to re do it .. once this is done ride for 10kms on a normal speed .. and then test your bike.. it should work ..

Yes as per my info from my sources ..they have but you will have to call up a few service centers and inquire about it, speak directly to the service head ..most prominent service centers will have the latest ecu files
