Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Placed rubber bush beneath the tank plastics behind the t-stem. But it depends on where the vibrations are arising from in your vehicle.Originally posted by Jayanta Kumar Das View PostHow you sorted out the tank panel vibrations? My odo reading is 2800 km. Have you topped up the engine oil at 2500 km?
I changed the engine oil & oil filter after 2300kms. It's a personal preference.Ride Safe!

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Thanks @johnsnow79 for your suggestion,Originally posted by johnsnow79 View PostHi Buddy,
It was initially available for 178,200 in Bangalore.
current price is because karnataka government increased the taxes recently and also 2k price hike by Bajaj. One option is to wait for GST to be rolled out. The price might come down.
It remains unclear whether Bajaj would increase the price again.
Of course no freebies offered as it is new bike
Hope this helps
any ways, I am planning to get the bike post August (Probably, GST roll-out may be delayed).
Cheers,
Happy riding

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
THROTTLE LAG AND OTHER ISSUES ALERT.
As i have told u guys earlier that Bajaj has organised a 2 days servicr camp at Gurgaon to sort out various issues. Mainly the lag or missing. For the same a team of pune was there with proper equipment to read and collect data.
So what they did here is connected the customers bikes with big industrial kind laptops to collect data and sort the issue. And as per owners who were there they finally managed to crack it. And uploaded new files or map in the bike and now the lag issue is gone.
The older file or map number is 110 for abs and 111 for non abs . Now the new file or map is 112 for abs and 113for non abs. And as per pune team it will be available at the service center in few days time here in Delho, best to visit 22nd May onwards, they would remove the older map and upload the new one.
At the camp other stuff was also discussed like vibrations and fork leakage , which as per the bajaj team is nothing but the excess grease and simple cleaning would do.
GUYS DO CONFIRM WITH UR SVC FOR THE NEW UPDATED ECU TO REMOVE THE MISSING AND LAG.

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
I have a doubt. Which coolant is used in Dominar. Bajaj koolex or Motul Infugel? Service center has only motul in stock. I have to top it up. And regarding Engine oil can I use Motul 10w50 while topping up? There is already Bajaj 10w50 in my Engine. I am planning to top it up at home.

If you want to use Motul 10w50 you have to fully replace the Bajaj 10w50.. don't use it for topping up..Originally posted by Jayanta Kumar Das View PostI have a doubt.
