Did you try moving the front number plate to the mudguard?

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Hi friends
I am new to xbhp and have been following this thread for months now .Thank you for all the inputs ,it will shed light on many aspects for a prospective dominar buyer like me.I took two test rides .The first test ride was at a showroom in Trivandrum .The gear shifts were all very noisy,The engine was not smooth for my liking .Then after the ride i left unimpressed and almost gave up the idea of owning one.But then again my friend had suggested to try another ride at my place as he thought the first test ride bike could be abused and not serviced. So i approached the dealer at my native place and they said test ride vehicles are only available on Tuesday every week.So i went there on my unicorn and took the ride.Oh my boy....It was awesome...The engine is smooth,The gear shifts are smooth except the first gear which is no major issue at all.The breaking was excellent at 90kmph.I fell in love with dominar instantly ....It was love at second sight
...Now should I buy it now or wait for a couple of months more so that some issues with ecu and all get sorted out. Also it will be monsoon here in kerala next two months,So my question is whether there are chances of considerable price hike in two three months time....Price hike up to 5k is okay with me if they get some issues sorted out.

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Hey Guys,
Today, I was in Bajaj Showroom in Bangalore (100ft Ring road, Banashankari) to book a Dominor. SA quoted as OTR Bangalore is 191,868/-. When I checked on net last night, OTR was 174,xxx. Now there is a difference of almost 17,000/-. I didn't book one today, instead thought of inquiring few more Bajaj dealers in Bangalore.
Dominor owners from Bangalore!, could you please let me know the OTR at the time of purchase of your bikes? Also, these guys says that, no freebies are offered and I can see that the head light on/off switch is present on those vehicles. I doubt that these bikes are of old stock?
I requested for White/Plum. SA confirmed, it is readily available. Could you guys please let me know can I go ahead with the booking?
Here is the total break up

The ex-showroom price does not seem to be much different from old price. See if anything else like registration, tax has increased.Originally posted by VeVi View PostHey Guys,

The head light off switch shouldn't be there. It must be the Pilot - headlight ON switch.

Headlamp switch is there. It's not old bike. All Dominar has this switch on the tight hand side.Originally posted by I Ride Alone View PostThe ex-showroom price does not seem to be much different from old price. See if anything else like registration, tax has increased.

This switch will enable you to switch on lowbeam and then both high and low will work together. Always on is only for high beam.

Yes, this showroom guys have quoted 32,xxx as registration charges. IMO, that's not so huge. I will check with other showrooms if this is the case,
