Looks like fueling issue. Refuse to take Delivery after service. Ride and check after service, if it remains don't sign. Drop a mail to higher officials.

you can feel it every 1km after. i think its fuel injector problem but bajaj service guys dont know how to slow it. bad experience with bajaj at very premium cost.
i think they dont want to change anything in my bike at company cost. and keep looking here and there for solution.

This is the famous throttle lag issue which is commonly faced by most owners. Courtesy of our dealership here in delhi we made a speard sheet containing names and problems of most owners , which was forwarded to bajaj. This issue is most common and in first lot bike this was not there before the ecu update.
In most cases resetting the ecu has helped but problem resurfaced in some bikes.
After that complaint sheet we had a meeting with bajaj representatives yesterday and they listend to our problem and assured us a solution soon. And they also did a ecu re flash in the bikes present yesterday at the dealership. And yes the problem still persist in few bikes.
I don't have any such issue in mine.
The good thing is a team from pune is coming to Krishna auto Gurgaon on 17th and 18th may so few of us would be going there to push the issue further.

Now what my point is this could easily be a issue of air block inside the tank i might be wrong but guys facing this should try opening the tank cap and cleaning the samll hole on the under side (there are two of it) so that there should be no blockage.
And u can also try getting the ecu reflash or reset it at ur home.
The irregular idle is related to throttle body and it was cleaned or replaced in 1 or 2 bikes.
I would post an update after the meeting with pune team, i would try to go there personally if not a very good member of our group is going and he too has this missing in his bike.

Throttle lag: Which gear is it observed? And at what speed/rpm?
            Is there any consistent pattern?

              Hi All,

I had never paid much attention to wheels before. On the Dominar facebook page, someone talked about
poor quality rim which was immediately changed by the dealer next day. They brought up the quality control issues with bajaj.

After this incident, i looked diligently at my bike's alloys.
I noticed a small rectangular piece of metal on both wheels around 3x2 cms, it is slightly mobile.

              Is this normal ?

if needed i will post the pics.
Any assistance with my query would be very much appreciated.

              Cheers,

              Johnsnow

Hi those small pieces are to balance the wheel which is used during balancing process at factory itself. So no need to worry.

                  Hi All,

i will ask really stupid question.

How often we have to inflate tyres.

I am aware that it depends on the ridding style and other variable do play role as well.
The frequency mentioned included, twice a day to weekly on webiste.

I usually use dominar for weekend rides or few times during the weekdays.

                  Thank you in advance.

                  Cheers,

                  Johnsnow

PS; Started ridding motorbike again after 9 years gap, i used 4 wheeler

So before to start every weekend do check the pressure and if it's less they'll fill it. Regular checkups would be good as you only rode in weekends.

                            Hi Guys

Did any Dominar owner has gone for after market exhaust ? Or do you know any place in Mumbai or any website for exhaust which can allow us to hear the exhaust before buying it .......
If anyone know please share the info...

                            And also

Did anyone felt like bike's engine rpm is getting faster by its own ?
Because I am feeling that rpm has increased after ridding for few days since I have done my first service is that normal or what ?

                            Thanks In Advance

Hi guys, my friend is the market for for buying a new bike below Rs. 2 lakhs. He was into the Mojo earlier but since I told him about the Dominar he is interested in that too, due to cool headlamps and ABS.

Any long-term owners can give a brief summary of how your experience has been so far. What you love and hate about Dominar?

He is mostly going to use it 85% in city and 15% on highways. I suggested him the Dominar because of the comfy rider seat and usable pillion seat. Your inputs are welcomed.

                              Cheers!

Got my bike this afternoon, tested 10 km and jerking are now 80% less. still there is jerking but its accapteble.
i ask about what they do and they told me that your fuel filter is choked. and they charge me 100rs for it.
i wonder if fuel filter in not in good condition then way jerk is not coming at higher rpm or higher speed were bike need more fuel?????? its come at constant speed and rpm.
well i will update after few days if problem is solve or not.
