All this on a test ride vehicle . Mentioned my concern to the sales rep, seems the test ride vehicle was due for service, he asked me to come back tomorrow evening. Why can't bajaj maintain their test ride vehicles? I was so hopeful of booking it today, now having second thoughts.
Hope you know how our people test ride the bikes
I was lucky to test ride the Dominar on Day 2 in Chennai. I have no complaints except that it didn't meet my personal expectation of a bigger tank.
If you have some friend who owns a Dominar, ask for a short ride.
Test ride bikes, if they have clocked 1000kms would be in the state of a 20000kms used bike in most cases. I have seen people killing the new machines

i rode for almost 50 kms today. Checked for oil seepage, all fine.

Another thing, anybody has any suggestion for luggage bags, not touring bags, but bags for daily use which fits dominar either at tank or at the rear seat. I used to take one backpack everytime i go out. Its kinda inconvenient. So inputs are appreciated. Checked amazon and ebay but nothing satisfying the purpose

Check viaterras tail bag or tank bag. Both are good for daily use and can also be used as backpack after the ride.

Hi.. Got a call from some Bajaj rep today that tomorrow ie 12th May there is a camp set up in Pune for feedback on Dominar so that they could make future changes.. Apparently, they are also offering Rs300 cash as fuel expenses just to visit..

            Anyone else have an invite?

Alternatively, if anyone have some suggestions to put forth to Bajaj, I would gladly do it..

Same problem here...it feels like problem in fueling though.. But it happens when you are in bigger gear..u shift down and it's ok again... It happened once on highway and bike came to a halt...need further investigation.

my problem is diffrant from you. at any speed at any gear but on constant speed and rpm between 2 to 3k jerks are coming.
you can feel it every 1km after. i think its fuel injector problem but bajaj service guys dont know how to slow it. bad experience with bajaj at very premium cost.
i think they dont want to change anything in my bike at company cost. and keep looking here and there for solution.

At how many km's is the second free service at? also my chain sprocket seems to become dry every 200-300kms ... i feel the chain lube SVC sprayed is inferior should i go for motul or stick to the same. i have heard many riders stating motul is overrated and the normal OKS lube should be adequate but in my case its doesn't seem to be lubricating the chain effectively...any suggestions??

I would recommend you to get a Lube (I use motul for my bikes). Life of lube depends on our riding environments (watery, dust) as well

Looks like fueling issue. Refuse to take Delivery after service. Ride and check after service, if it remains don't sign. Drop a mail to higher officials.
