The brake leaver may have included master cylinder thats why the increased price i guess.

Haha no. I've seen the kit. It just includes the lever, pin slot and a type of white grease. No master cylinder. And it costs ₹1890. Do PM me if you need more details. I have the photo of the set as well.

Any suggestions for new ones as i do not have budget for riding pants.

Get cramster drifter pro or Scoyco k12. The ones other guy with you is wearing in the pic. Metal may harm you some day in one or other way.

Any review on new ecu update?

Working fine on my bike, throttle feels bit heavy than before but acceleration is good. No missing or lag.

Bajaj Dominar in Matte Black. My honest opinion, don't go for it. It resembles a chunkier version of the NS. The current colours are more premium and also give our Dominars that exclusive look and feel.

I think this will sell more than every other color. Black appeals to enthusiasts more IMO. with this launch, I think it is high time for Bajaj to start adding accessories now.

Quite possibly, many may opt for the Matte Black, but my point is, wouldn't it defeat the purpose of buying a Dominar? And yes, I heard Bajaj would be introducing some accessories post GST implementation next month.

Hi guys.. Came across a small accident on my dominar.. And damaged both alloys.. Can you please let me know if it's repairable or not..

There is no crack anywhere..


Was riding on a unfamiliar Road at around 60-70kmph with a 90 kgs pillion... The pillion felt with rear seat.. I repeat rear seat...

With God's grace nothing happened to both of us and even the bike.

Looking at the rim bending complaints and the stiff front suspension setup, provided the rims are good quality the extra stiff suspension can be the problem, transferring the shock to the alloys. Interesting to see what weight oil is used in the forks, and may be replace it with lighter one. Handling might not remain as sharp but it may save you the cost of an alloy.

Btw that alloy can be heated and brought back to shape, provided the overall shape of the wheel ia not affected or it has not developed cracks or weakspots elsewhere. If you are losing air, get a tube (if available) or a new alloy.

Total cost on road - 1,92,527
Initial odo reading showed 10 kms. Thanks to xbhp, I am able to understand a lot about dominar's pros and cons before buying.
The machine is a beast. I was using fazer 1.0 before upgrading to dominar, so I felt that the pickup is very powerful. Vibrations are minimal. But, I did feel some heat flow on to my pants while going in high traffic areas like brigade road. I was asked to keep my speeds below 60 until second service, which means I should strictly roam inside bangalore until second service is done. Bike has good stopping power. I felt the weight of the bike only when I had to lift bike from 70 degrees angle. Never try bending with on one side even if you want to check something. Park the bike and check, because bike might topple on to you

Congrats on your new bike! Initially the heat will be more. It will reduce as the engine gets refined. People run-in differently. It depends upon you if you want to limit yourself to 60 kmph, or upto 5k-5.5k rpm, wich on the 6th gear is above 80kmph.

About the pickup, imagine the what I felt about it as I came to Dominar from Access 125.

and i have to shift the front no.plate downwards,but how? can i get a after market clamp

Congrats on your new bike! Initially the heat will be more. It will reduce as the engine gets refined. People run-in differently. It depends upon you if you want to limit yourself to 60 kmph, or upto 5k-5.5k rpm, wich on the 6th gear is above 80kmph.

About the pickup, imagine the what I felt about it as I came to Dominar from Access 125.
