Hi I am coming from the ns200 and the d400 has much bigger seat and also comfortable seating position, whereas the ns200 has more sportier ones. So if your main concern is touring then you can enjoy the bike fully.

Dear Dominar Owners, I am planning to buy Dominar 400 to replace my 8 year old ZMA. Can anyone who moved from a ZMA comment on how are the vibrations compared to ZMA. I ride 60kms to and fro to office daily and looking for a comfortable ride. ZMA has served me good so far, but vibrations are unbearable at 80 and above and hence looking for a replacement. The spread sheet with the list of issues in Dominar shared yesterday has got me worried. Is the power loss issue a common one?

It's a perfect blend of sport and tourer, riding position, the CBR 250. NS is the most refined of Bajaj's lot, stress free engine, can munch miles after miles with no fuss and seating position is a little tall and more or less share the pulsar 220 seating position with very very slight lean -- not that much traceable. Though I'd suggest you to ride both the bikes to check your height, some people do have issues with the NS 200 being a little bit tall.

Thanks for your quick response. I don't have any problem with seat height. I mean to ask how much it is comfortable for long rides? How is suspension setup for Village roads (bumpy roads)? How is seating for rider and pillion (soft or hard)?[/QUOTE]

Its comfortable , but it completely depends upon the the road condition, I had done two two 1500Km trips, and its been completely comfortable. For village roads its nt great and brace for your back as the suspension is more on the hard side and it"s OK for the pillion, if not great.

            Hi
For that much comuting you can definitely go for d400. First of all it is a 400cc engine so vibrations will be there at some point of then time. But the power loss part I haven't faced yet so I am not comenting on that.

People should stop complainingabout mileage, if so mileage is the concern then should opt for 100cc bikes.

For commuting mileage will be good depending upon your use of the bike.

Seating position and the seat are made for long rides without any brakes.
Hope I gave answers to your questions.

Its not a recurring issue, I am a D400 owner for past two months , Earlier the issue was there , but after the first issue, and slogging in 4000Km now its been more smooth and no power loss issue has been noticed by me for a long time.

Hello Viki, I have ridden NS200 in traffic and on highway but not have owned one. by my experience, I can tell you the seating comfort is much better on dominar but NS200 is an excellent bike overall. dominar vibrations kills the joy. with 1500 on the odo, I feel that the engine has become smoother under lower revs but still harsh as you go past 4K.
It comes to a point that you dont even feel like trying the anything higher. To sum it up, dominar for me is a 3-4K RPM bike. Below 3K, power delivery is as good... or as bad as a 150cc commuter. Maybe its just my bike but to some extent, I regret my decision. the oil leaks continues to persist, city ridability is nothing to write home about, 30KMPL is more than what I wanted but the joy of owning a powerful bike isnt there.

Hello, it would take around 25 days for passing number. The message confirming the service tax has been paid should come within a week. MH14 registrations may take additional days.

And a similar incident happened to my brother about 8 yrs back, when he got his pulsar 150. When he went to choose his bike, there was a mechanic rotating the tyres in reverse manner. (this is done to reduce the km count on the odo), so my bro asked to why this was being done. They said, they had to test the vehicle if it's fine and they had ride several kms at high speeeds, etc to see if the bike is still good. And then, they do this to bring it back to lower km count on the odo, so that the customers dont question them. But anyway they ensured, the bikes they're showing my bro are brand new. He didn't like or trust that, and later purchased somewhere else.
So basically, the people at the dealership, break in the bike and then, we are here trying to follow the run-in.[emoji23] [emoji23]
                    This is absolutely true.

Previously I was a R15 V2 owner, and lots of my friends are surprised why I chose Bajaj product after using Yamaha.

                      So,Why I chose Dominar 400 ?

                      1. My Main concern was budget, my budget was 2 Lacs, So Dominar fits my bill.
                      2. Big Bike Look
                      3. Power 35 PS which is more than enough for me to upgrade.
                      4. Maneuverability, despite being so heavy Dominar is very nimble in traffic.

Hey guys I recently (March 22nd) bought Dominar 400 (non - ABS). So far done 560km on bike and I am very happy with bike.

I need some information about following products:

                              1. A good silencer (loud and bassy)
                              2. Fog lights (should be battery friendly)

I also has a concern about the flasher system in bike, i recently install a aftermarket parking switch but the flasher come with bike didnt take the load of light switch.
When i switch on the bike signal lights didn't flicker as it should be so the mechanic changed the oem flasher with another one then the flasher works perfectly.
I want to ask you guys that does it void the warranty of bike ?
And does it effect the battery's and LED signals light ?
