But don't worry the matter has been pushed forward to higher level. Meanwhile i can get ur fuel filter , throttle body and injectors cleaned up to be on safe side. And here in delhi Bajaj tech guys reflashed the ecu in our bikes.
Thanks for the advice bro..the throttle actually doesn't really dies, it kind of just dips momentarily & then on twisting a bit more, is fine again..also, I have tried to clear the ECU cache by following ur method in the video bro but with no positive outcome..
Since I'm in east delhi, so should I just insist to Fairdeal Bajaj guys to reflash the ECU? Coz last time I asked them to do it, they were very reluctant to do it & ultimately convinced me to not pester them anymore for it..
Does this fuel filter, throttle body and injectors cleaning take up a lot of time? Please advise.

Thanks bhai been busy with lot of stuff lately and now this heat stroke , missed the bajaj official dinner ride due to this. My bike is only 1980kms old and no issues to discuss so didn't have any thing to write there. Missed 2 full day rides with fellow riders. Would try to pile up more and write about it.

Ture yaar it is really hard to to make them do the things u want. U can try coming to baggalink Karol bag they are open six day no sunday.
Waise this dip in power u r talking about, if it only occurs when u leave throttle and picks up again, then it is only engine breaking which is giving u a push back feel and is normal but, if it happens when u still opening the throttle than it is a issue.
And yes all the above cleaning would take time as lot of things have to be opened.

What u can do is u can get ur area engineer nimber and talk to him , if it is Mr. J K ARORA, HE IS really nice we met him few days back.
And there is team coMing from pune at Krishna bajaj Gurgaon on 17th and 18th to address this issue. U can go there few guys from this side would be going there i can give u there contact. Pm me if u are interested.
One more thing u can do is to mention that u had a word with mr arora and he told u to get the ecu reflashed.

Exactly right on the engine braking. If on 6th gear, closing the throttle drops the speed drastically. If the speed drops to 65 and below, the throttle lag like situation is felt. But it is just that the gear need to be dropped to 5 to pull.

100% normal u can not ride dominar below 65kmp in sixth cog it would dip 5th is the preferred gear till that speed i use 5th till 65kmph to 70kmph and 6th only above 65 . Never faced this lag. This bike commands proper gear per speed. And i have used 5th at 45kmph without any lag .

You shouldn't drive below 70 in sixth gear

Sadness - people riding sportsbike like a 100cc.

Does anybody have Throttle lag while the bike is above 5000 rpm?

Or when the throttle is kept open.

I haven't felt any lag so far when the rpm is above 4k or when the throttle is kept open while accelerating or cruising.

What I have read from other post is that some have faced it while overtaking. But in this scenario, check if the throttle was closed momentarily and then if you tried to overtake in the same gear without downshifting.

I had lot of lag during the day time when compared to night drive. This indicates that fuel tank is not getting enough air inside. Some type of vacuum is there when the environment is hot. Just my observation.

Does anyone know whether Dominar has a fual pump? Just to understand how fuel pressure is maintained at FI level.

                    NEW UPDATE OF MY BIKE

jerking are there. now i feel 50% than before
but pattern of jerk has been change
now no jerk at constant speed or rpm but when you change gear 1 to 2 or 2 to 3 and upward you feel jerking at light throttle input.
still want some work to do on my bike
will call bajaj and my service manager after week of testing.

Guys I am a prospective buyer of Dominar. Can anyone help me with the actual milege, service cost, engine performance, vibrations, long ride comfort, engine Knocking at lower rpm etc. Or any long term review above 10000kms?

It has a fuel pump of course. Thats how the term fuel injected (fi) comes to being. The Krrr sound you hear when you put on the kill switch is the sound of it priming.

Sometimes back, when I faced the low rpm problem on my CBR 250 due to a clogged fuel filter, the only solution to get the bike to stop stalling continuously was to switch on and off the kill switch, thus making the fuel pump prime again.

If I didn't cycle the switch, the bike would stall again after a few moments.

I am actually surprised that you can ride dominar above 4k. It feels like brand new splendor running at 120kmph.

You mean your Dominar vibrates a lot after 4000 rpm?
