Got the bike yesterday and have ridden for about 130 KMS in the first day and the experience was overwhelming ....Only issue I have faced is a slight power lag when downshifting.....Can anyone comment on that ?

Which fuel did you use? Give it some time to settle. I know there are reports here for ECU updates and all but I'll always suggest to try all possible solutions before going anywhere. Try good fuel station and let the bike settle down. It could also be down to the rider.

I have filled from a BP fuel station.Yes I will see it will get settled before going anywhere and the power loss is so minimal that it doesn't bother me at all.....

Awesome.. Try to find a CO CO pump - Company Owned, Company Operated. Go for Shell if you can find it. Else BP>IOCL>HP.

Thank you .....I'm from Kerala ...we don't have many shell fuel pumps here.....but if it's a fuel related issue its Also possible that the 3Ltr given by the dealer might not be good.....Then again if fuel is the issue why is it only occuring while down shifting and that too only some downshifts.....

I forgot to congratulate you for the Dominar. It is a wise decision and a sweet one too. There is nothing better spec'd than Dominar in the market as of now. Let's see if we can rule out fuel thingy. I'd ask you to get comfortable with the bike first and then upgrade the skills wherein you find out issues with the bike(if any) by just the twist of the wrist.

Dear Akash ....Dominar is mostly my hearts calling rather than a well analysed decision.But all I can say is this.... there are things which exceed all your expectations and make you feel proud of your decision making capacity...Dom belongs there.....

When down shifting, you are going to a lower gear, 3 to 2, so where is the power lag, considering you want to go slower. Perhaps I'm not understanding you

Sorry for not clearly explaining it .....what I feel is that there is some missing in fuel flow for a few seconds.....it's there...

I think I am having a leak in my rear tyre. I had accidently over filled my rear tyre with 36 psi nitrogen around 3 weeks ago , but when I checked today its around 16 psi. My tyre doesn't have any visible bends. What to do ?

I recently bought my new dominar actually i got it as a birthday gift from my parents. I live in punjab but im from greater noida and while i was taking it to punjab i met with an accident. Im fine some scrathes thats it.. thanks to the riding gears. I have some queries

1. In other threads they are talking about ecu update how to know if i got it already have done 1500km for now and first service is done.

2. While im riding in 6th gear and release the throttle for downshift and rev it again i feel a lag specially if im in between 3 to 4k rpm.

3. There are minor scratches on bike and leg gaurd is bend... what should i do? Should i leave the scratches and should i just bring leg gaurd to its previous position or should i put a new leg gaurd any other suggestion regarding leg gaurd will be helpfull . Scratches cant be removed i need to replace the whole pary said the dealer.

3. When i can change exhaust and what will be the negative effect of it if i change it now betwqeen 1.5k to 2k

Hello friends need some suggestion my domi has clocked 200 km (1 week old) obviously the first service is not done and i am plannnig a 400 km ride this weekend . Is it ok to move with the plan if my speeds are under specified limits?
