drvmtm : Thank you so much for the detailed answers provided to my queries. Makes me feel so much relaxed.
But the photos you posted makes me curious.

1. Is it an aftermarket visor that you installed? Where did you order that from? Can it be installed using the provision given for the number plates or do I need something else?

2. Also about the lights, since the bigger one is placed on the left side of the bike, will it not result in offset throw of light? Is there any specific reason for placing it to the left?

All this flow of info is making me so excited. I can't wait for my D400 to arrive!

And trust me my power is worse than yours and even rtr's ac 35watt was enough. Bright light is good but making it uncomfortable for opposite lane users is different. Remember 'fine line'
You are missing the whole point. It's not for on road use.

Answer......
I am yet to put a visor. Still now it's stock. The best one which fits and looks good is pulsar as 200s. A person named MR VIJAY HANSORA did beautiful installation of it in YouTube. Do search and learn. Cheap and easy fix. Other options can be Cbr 250 s, fazers etc.

Answer......

Well its for long range use. I like it to be on the left since I use one only. Otherwise of you want you can try 30 watt Leds avl in market in a small form factor, just like a 4 led pattern, produce some real good illumination. For near range you need to balance. For long range, lights light up to a km or so don't need balance as the focal point in far ahead. Use them with caution and off road only. The horn is also replaced by the Hella super tones.

It's a good big motorcycle. My efforts are below marked as answer.

Yes.. I have this issue.. It usually happens in first km or so.. The bike just seems to lose power.. You then have to re-throttle it to get back power.. Happens at 3k rpm..
Had it checked at the service centre.. The engineer knew about the issue as mine was the 4th bike on that particular day with same issue..
The engineer simply drained the fuel drain pipe and asked me to do so if it happens again, as they still have no real solution to it.. Meanwhile, the issue still persists..
And it is a serious issue, as once it so happened that I was in middle of an overtake and the bike simply gave up.. Thankfully the oncoming traffic was a little far ahead..

Does anyone have an idea/solution?

I have created a small ownership video and highlighted the peculiar sound from left side of the bike ...mainly chain area.

How many of you are facing this issue?

borisdsilva What i do is i simply open my fuel tank for 3 seconds after one km drive . I guess this is happening because the air intake is not proper. I dont feel the chocking then. y dont u give it a try..

Read below i have posted it in whatsapp group, now posting it here.

Ecu rest.
I have not done this on my bike as i have no such throttle lag issue. This process does not harm anything but still do it on ur own risk do not held me responsible. I have done this on cbr and zma learned it for a yamaha mech.
It would not restore the old map but it erase the ecu data thus eliminate any data ambiguity causing jerks and lags.
1 turn off the ignition.

2 open rider seat u need size 8 spanner.

3 disconnect battery both terminals. And leave it as it is for 15 to 20 mins, 30 if u can wait more.

4 reconnect the battery terminals after 20 mins. And wait for 5 to 10 mins.

5 switch on the ignition. Ur led display would go blank for few secs and time would reset so reset time, also trip meter can go zero.

6 after switching ignition on wait for 5 mins and strat the bike and leave it to idle for 10 to 15mins do not revv. Turn off the ignition after 10 mins of idle

7 wait for 5 mins and start the bike idel for 1 min now ur set to ride. Have asmall run around the block, be gradual with throttle use the whole rev range. Effects would show after few kms fo riding just be gradual and use all gears.

By resting we erase the data that is 0 and 1s of ecu. And now it would write new 0 and 1s and adapt to ur style.

The above process would hopefully resolve the on off feel and throttle lag during riding. Also bit improvement in sluggishness. If this did not work get ur ecu re flashed from company. And get the throttle body cleaned.
One person here in delhi already did this, followed the above steps and his bike is much smoother without the lag.
my bike is jurking a lot at 2 to 3k rpm and tryed this but
not working for me. Please suggest me if you have any other

In exactly which gear it is jerking , the above mentioned process is to eliminate throttle lag at high gear and high speed. If the jerks u are getting is only while leaving the throttle then it is engine breaking. As engine breaking is more at lower rpm.
Please tell what speed u r doing in which gear at these rpm as at 2k rpm u can not up shift , it is only above 3 to 3.5k rpm upshifts that the bike would not protest.
Other best remedies for jerks are injector cleaning and throttle body cleaning.
Now we have 4 guys who have done this ecu reset to eliminate the high speed lag and they all the fully satisfied.

I fired a mail to bajaj auto. I got a call from the service centre. They have asked me to bring the bike to service station. Will update if the issue gets resolved.

seen your video buddy. for the chain sound I suggest you to check the chain adjuster marking on both side of the swing arm and see if that is aligned or not as I have seen this chain sound issue in one bike and his rhs mark and lhs mark are in different position , there are line for marking .
And please tell you friend Kartik not to do stunts , and if he still wants to do it then pick a proper place and wear all the guard including the back protectors. as recently this so called stunting took a innocent life. my humble request. Kartik looks just a yound kid and he has so much life ahead of him so why want o spol it and give pain to parents and family.

Yes he takes proper care, place and always wear riding gears. Anyways we always suggest him not to try anything. He is relocating to Delhi and just wanted to test Dominar. We heard the sad news of the young lad.

I will check the chain adjuster marking for chain sound.
