From what i read, they will cause increased abrasion in the disks. Ktm has harder disks which are rightly paired with metal sintered. There is already mention of disk warping so i malt dropped the idea.

Dominar startup issues. It's been 3 months and bike started on the first button press. But now i need several and it won't start until i twist the throttle. Totally defeats the purpose of a 60 second idling. The SC told me there is a fuel filter so no chance of fuel injector clogging. Switched to Indian oil premium fuel. Will check tomorrow

You can experiment and share the results. IMO, the ABS is tuned for the exact break pressure and tyre size. You may not get optimal results, if changed.

Check the battery voltage, should be above 12.4v with the engine off.

Check if anything is blocking the air filter.

Fuel filter can get clogged and make the bike stall, as in my CBR 250. But that was after 20k kms.

Check if water is present in petrol tank.

Are those pads a direct fit?

Did u try opening the tank , sometimes in hot weather air gets collected inside the tank which can cause starting issues also see that the tank air pipe or overflow pipe is not clogged.

I am getting a milage of 25km/L in my running in period . I use speed petrol. And I ride at 60 km/h at max. My odo reads 190 km. Is my milage alright ? , Can some one guide me on how to properly run in my Dominar. 🤔

Its still in temporary registration. I will take permanent registration when I go to my hometown , probably in May

I opened the tank cover before starting up incase the overflow was clogged. And it started in the first shot.
                        Thanks for the suggestion.
On a side note, the chain was making noise. SC keeps saying the slack is ok. I can hear the chuck chuck sound after turn or corner but not in straights. The SC suggested not to use motul lube. Even i felt that was a bit sticky. So got the lube that Bajaj is selling. It's a bit better.

                            Hello SAK,
By my experience, your fuel economy sounds about right. I was getting around 25 and it did not bother me at all. Post first service, it should increase by another 3kmpl. Still, all of this depends upon your riding style. Yesterday, I completed my first service and did a tank full today. I'll check and let you know more.

About proper run in, I have been sticking to below 4k RPM. Above that, tank area starts vibrating and hence, never feel like going above this limit.
Going by the books doesn't help as engine stutters at low RPM. Just to give you an overview.
                            1st gear > 13kmph. I do 20kmph.
                            2nd gear > 23kmph. I do 30kmph.

Rest of the gears are better to potter around, in the city traffic and I keep the RPM below 3k mark.

An interesting observation. Maybe bajaj was riding a different bike or have not done their homework. They have kept impractical speed limit per gear. Almost impossible to stick to book.

On top of that, 1st service experience was bad to say the least. Tank noise is still very high. The oil leakage issue is still not rectified. City drivability still remains a weak point.
My work timing doesn't allow me frequent visits.
If not fixed, I'll probably will have to correct my decision. So far, all I can say is Bajaj is not KTM.

Hello Jayanta, I have had this issue and got a top up from Bajaj. Had raised this concern at first service and I am yet to verify the results. Please talk to the service tech and get a top up till first service.
