Cbr is not that smooth Mojo beats it in that department it is almost vibe free till 120 where as cbr starts vibing near 100, same for fz. But mojo lacks the dynamics of d400 it has limitations due to its frame and chassis.

        Hi,

If you want a bike which is more smoother consider Mojo, excelent for touring and very smooth engine. If security is your concern you can wait until ABS version comes. For me Hornet vibration is very negligible. If you're coming from Apache then I think you really gonna fall in love with the Honda engine.

You can also consider fz25 if you must switch. but it also has some vibes in top end. So basically a hornet or unicorn will be a good deal but not an upgrade.

You are supposed to inspect the bike in broad day light. It is easy to miss scratches and paint issues in low light.

Bike was getting a bit hot. Just a bit. May be due to rising ambient temperature. Checked the coolant level and saw it was down so poured a bit of wurth coolant and water. Checkked out the engine oil and needed some pour. Motul 7100 came in to help. Now ready to do daily chores again.

And RS200 has RLP - Rear wheel Lift of Protection too, so no issue of rear tyre lifting up.

                Cheers.
Aditya and leech, TVS Apache is the only bike in the Indian motorcycle scene to offer a RLP with ABS which is nothing but a small gyro sensor in the ABS unit that detects the position of the vehicle and then releases the brakes if it finds the front brakes are locked and the vehicle body position is off at a certain angle. And no, the RS 200 doesn't come with RLP as such. It's just a normal setup.

Bikes with switchable ABS, meaning turning ABS on and off can do wheelies since the ABS is completely turned off, the ECU has no control over the hydraulics of the brakes. But in constant non-switch-off-able ABS like the 200 the wheel is in constant motion and any unduly body roll will result in the ABS Unit decreasing power to the front wheel brakes which means no high speed stoppies, unless you can scrwe

Best thing is it comes with pinlock 30 antifog visor pre-installed and believe me its really helps a lot as I am telling this from personal experience.
                Price is around 4300rs.
I have tried the MT and LS2 also but it has a better fitting and have a much wider viewing area.
                And looks really really awesome..
Do post your experiences of this helmet in depth, with crisp photos and your review in the dedicated helmets thread. This helmet needs some proper reviewing as this is a new kid on the block though we have some odd posts of this here and there.

Jokes apart, I think this little attention to detail would help manufacturers go a long way, and the manuals are an even more farce. But, just for sake of gags, this picture is quoted.

                  must make sure yourself,
Bosch said that RS200 have RLP.
Thats why the bike is equipped with Sensor and ring on rear wheel.

                  Please go through this link-

Otherwise when you jam the front brake at 100Kmph, what would happen if the RLP is not present.

Guys, I had been to the showroom today to pick one from the lot. But I decided against the only plum ABS version they had. The odo read 28km and the brake lights didn't function properly upon engaging the rear brakes. The sales person said that they need to test the bike of such big capacity to ensure that it's functioning properly and blah blah. Long story short I have asked them to fetch me another one by this month end. I hope they don't a grudge against me... Fingers crossed 😕

Yes I agree with you but being a Quality Engineer myself I carry a torch magnifier myself. I inspected that one bike today for nearly half an hour to the salesperson utter dismay and at the end rejected it. [emoji38] [emoji38]

U did the right thing 28kms on odo on fresh bike is not good. Shoot a mail to bajaj about it it should be under 10kms. I picked from 4 bikes back in jan , all have around 8 or 9 kms but the one i picked had 12kms on odo but i felt the thing properly and everything was good , had a small ride in their premises and picked it .

You're very right about the the way it works. Let me clear it for you Aditya. When you brake at 100 KMPH, or grab a handful as you mentioned. You won't be thrown off with an ABS fitted motorcycle, for the most part. You people grabbing from 100+ plus kays and the bike absolutely screeches yet comes to a halt without fuss. If it were the case with normal motorcycle yes, would would be thrown off in no time.

Just because it has a sensor at the rear doesn't mean it has an RLP. Let me explain in little details how it works. Say for example, with the RS 200 single channel abs WITHOUT a rear wheel sensor, the ABS should be totally useless. How will the ABS ECU know if the wheel is locked if only the front wheel had the sensor? Let me take your example, 100 KMPH panic brake, front wheel locks, how will the countermeasure of unlocking the wheel will be done by the hydraulic unit if the only wheel with the sensor is locked without having other input to know that the bike is actually moving? That is where the rear wheel comes, see here is how it works; you panic brake, front locks the rear keeps spinning, ECU detects front wheel is locked since the rear wheel is moving more than the front, and instantly reduces the front brake pressure. You got the point now? RLP is just using additional gyro sensor with the ABS unit and also the gyro sensor will check if the bike is in level with the ground and not imbalanced.

So, in short there isn't a dedicated RLP gyro as such, it's just the plain way how ABS works. This is how all ABS works. You can do a stoppie in an RS less than the ABS sensor actuation speed, in case of the RS 200 it's 6 KMPH or 10 KMPH I guess you can try that, and the bike would stoppie with no problems. Go above 6 and 10 and try doing a wheelie, you'd know it'd be pretty much difficult, because it's the humble ABS doing its work.

                                Cheers!
