I had called Ravi Charles from Carbon Racing on the cell phone last month and he had picked up. Try contacting their store via Facebook.

Sir, please understand. All of us contact them via same means. They will respond if they want to do business. You are the buyer. If they aren't willing, reach out to the next dealer.

Maybe some confusion on bipin's part. I have spoken to them, they are genuine supporters and vendors. Got msg from Bipin that he got a response. All is well in Dominar land. Gnight friends.

Guys, I desperately need help with a solution for the false neutrals. Noticed the false neutrals from the very day I got the bike, although it wasn't as prone as it has become after the first servicing.

Took it back to Bajaj to solve it, but they said it's like this and it will improve on it's own after the 3rd servicing (honestly got paranoid but would be useless arguing with them that I need my problem solved & don't need an excuse ๐Ÿ˜)

Anyways, I tightened the gear lever as mentioned in many vlogs using the tools under the pillion seat as they claimed it to be the main culprit causing the false neutrals, but it didn't help much. ๐Ÿ˜ข

I honestly wouldn't worry too much about false neutrals as I have experienced them occasionally during my time with my NS, but this is getting dangerously regular. I almost lost control on a steep slope with a pillion cause my Domi got stuck in neutral and I couldn't down shift.

Was forced to upshift to 2nd gear and half clutch to try and pull her up the steep slope (please note I had to do this in a fraction of a second as there were vehicles behind us or else I would try and move the bike back and forth to get her some how into 1st gear).

Was quite disappointed that I was forced to put this kinda strain on my Domi and moreover there was a huge truck behind us with the engine cover exposed breathing down on our necks as he lost momentum on the slope and was forced to lower into his climbing gear.

I honestly hope there will be someone else here who has a solution to this problem they faced. I just hope this isn't a permanent issue or even an issue that would stay on till my 3rd servicing ๐Ÿ˜ถ

Any and all help and advice is appreciated ๐Ÿ™

Hi mates,
Is there any possibility to adjust the stiffness of the front suspension. I am from Kerala and obviously most of the roads which I ride are non mechanised ones, mostly potholed. On such roads riding D4 gives a very stiffer ride. The most I can go in these sort of roads are 80-90kmph, yes on the safe side. On most of the times the road contact is pretty less because of the stiffness. If any possibility is there give some light on the matter. Thanks in advance

Even changing a headlight bulb other then the OE spec is illegal as per our Indian Motor Vehicle Act.

But Why? I feel it looks like a pulsar after you put a tank cover. I agree it has many utility purposes, But spoils the look of the Bike. Its my opinion only.

Are you sure brother ?cause someone over here had said that it would fry my valves. But that happens if there is an abscene of underbelly ,right? With an underbelly with cat con inside is it OK?

So finally I was so busy enjoying my Erin (d400) i almost forgot about posting my experience on xbhp. Guys beware this is going to be a long one. So a bit of flashback I have always loved anything on wheels and since the first time i read a magazine which startd with "Au" and ends with "tocar" when i was 9 i absolutely fell in love in with cars and my father too is a enthusiast so i would get a monthly dose of these beautiful machines but as i grew up liking for bikes and biking start growing fourfold and by the time i was 15 i was raring to go on a motorcycle and i learned to ride on a my fathers HH Glamour, fast forward a year and both my father and me were desperately looking for a upgrade as the Glamour had served a good old 12 years but i was into iit coaching and boards were important too and realizing i would be distracted and no way i would be able to ride it as i wouldn't have a license so i studied for 2 years then came boards i did pretty well and then got a college then once again the topic to change the bike resurfaced and this time we both were on a lookout and after a lot of brainstorming the dominar was chosen over the duke390 went to the bajaj dealership to take a look at the bike we both took test rides and came home mighty impressed. Went the next day to book the bike since the white ABS model was not in stock paid a booking amount of 11k and then the wait began. Between these restless days Ijs solved each and every one of queries and i really thank him a ton for coping with me. Now i was told that bike would take around 6-7 days to reach here , recieved a call from bajaj that bike had ariived went to see the bike rightaway after inspection left and decided the date of delivery ,before the day of delivery the day passed with difficulty and both me and my father spent a restless night. Finally the day (26/06/17) had arrived went payed the amount and bike was now officially ours, selected the best time for delivery and went to the showroom took the delivery rolled out of the showroom and at that moment i was completely blank i was so overjoyed, filled her up and went home after the 'puja' went for a joytife with dad and came home with a grin slapped to my face. Current odo reads 703 first dervice was done at 568km maintained the bike as per run in guide and the bike became a lot smooth after first service and the gearshift became a lot smooth too.
Now the bad, really bad parts not about the dominar but about the bajaj dealership is about come up. First of all even though i was buying i bike near to 2 lakhs i was not given a preferred treatment . Though the showroom was air conditioNed none of them worked as per them and we were made to sit just under a fan and we were all sweaty by the time we left the dealership. Second the sales guy although a decent guy didnt have much knowledge about the bike. Third and the most horrendous part i paid a extra for a vip number and the DD was made to the RTO we were assured that we would get our shortlisted numbers either 6666 , 0660 in nearly 7 days after 7 days when i inquired about the registration they said that the numbers would not be available and we would have to select another number and my father was very angry and he told the guy that you assured me that we would get a number of our choice and if you couldn't have done it you should have simply refused rather than taking 5000 rupees and with that too we wouldn't get a number of our choice after a lot of tension they called the dealership owner he arrived and he assured us that he would personally look into the matter and it would be sorted as soon as possible, he was very humble to listen to our issues and promised to solve each and every one of the as soon as possible.
As for Erin she is dominating the roads.
Photos coming soon

I am 100% Sure the Catalytic converter is not in the End can. It is in the Under belly box. The end can is only to reduce the noise and give the exhaust note. There wont be much of a difference in performance even if you ride with out the end can or Some performance exhaust due to the under belly cat con.

The Mouth of the under belly exhaust is unprotected if you remove the end can and will be exposed to the elements. you have to cover it with the wire mesh to avoid the insects and lizards from entering in.

As i Mentioned earlier. It is illegal to remove the muffler or the End can from the exhaust as it creates noise pollution.

It is your wish to be an outlaw.

I can't seem to write one posted without bad remarks to Bajaj's A.S.S. please don't expect anything out of ordinary from them.
Although not to this extent, but even I had troubles with false neutrals. Gave it to the service center and the issue resumed after a few days. Finally, decided to do some diy and fix it myself. You see, I was troubled because I am almost 6 feet tall. Upshifting was problematic because I couldn't strain my leg enough to pull the shifter far enough. So I adjusted the shifter a little downwards. Took a few trial runs and noticed no false neutrals even when deliberately trying, not to fully pull the peddle. This also took care of false neutral when going for 2nd to 1st.
Your issue appears to be a bit different but its worth a try bro. If not, my God give you patience to deal with Bajaj.

Firstly thank you Sir! I'm 6'3 and I'm assuming your solution of lowering the gear lever should do the trick as I've honestly tried everything else. Will test it out tomorrow and get back to you.

Hahaha and yes, dealing with the geniuses at Bajaj requires all the patience I can muster. Fortunately had a 1st Gen NS which was plagued with issues, so I think I can deal with them without having to shoot myself at the end of it ๐Ÿ˜œ
