Thank you. And 7100 is not SS, its FS only.
Changed to Bajaj Oil because its just 1st service. Will use from next.

Appreciate the suggestion Sir. I dont know much about the technical aspects but will certainly ask them if they have done what you have conveyed. It is very difficult for me to physically check in to the showroom since it is about 15 kms from my work place and home both and my work place is pretty strict about "in - time", hence I have not been able to sit and supervise the repair work.

Will talk to them today. If there are no updates by tomorrow, I will have no option but to shoot a mail to Bajaj customer care.

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                    Hello,
can someone post a pic of proper oil levels on Dominar, I have a feeling that my oil levels are low and there is some oil residue on engine after first service, I hope nothing major, as I had to sell my pulsar 220( engine seized after engine oil leaking for almost a year)!!

This is After first service. Pic was clicked after riding bike for almost 10 kms. Personally i feel it is low and almost touching the minimum mark. Suggestions anyone?

Mine is slightly below top mark. Done 2.5kms after the last service. Warm up the engine by idling it for few minutes or have a small round on ur local street. Then wait for 2 minutes then straighten the bike let the oil settle and check.
Where is the oil marks on your engine can you share a pic if it is near the oil filter then they might not have placed the i ring right or u might need a new o ring, or it could only be residue from the old oil if it is near the drain bolt.

                          Hi everyone,

Thanks for the support and suggestions. Got the bike back late on Thursday evening and have ridden it over 50 kms till now. The issue of stalling and power delivery has been resolved. The bike is pulling much better in the first 2 gears as well.

I did ask them what they did to fix it and the 2 things which were rectified were - cleaning the throttle body and the fuel sensors. Ironically, I had told them to do this the very day I had given the bike and they had communicated to me on the phone that despite doing that nothing had changed. 3 days later I get a call from them saying they cleaned the above mentioned and the bike is fine now.

Really frustrating as this pretty much means the bike was lying in the SVC for 3 days and they ignored working on it. I think the whole story of getting new settings for the ECU was pretty much a sham. The only good thing is that the bike was ridden for about 15 kms to test the settings and they did this with my permission. Still, I am left with mixed feelings. The bike is back to normal for now but I really need to find a good mechanic outside the showroom who works on fuel injected bikes.

Ending the rant, I would like to thank Ijs and Xearoum (hope I spelt that right) for their inputs.

Like many owners have reported, i am too facing a "koo" kind of a loud noise when applied rear brakes. Initially it would be persistent for a day or so, and then the sound would go. But from past 100 kms or so the voice has been pretty much there. This noise would only come when you with the slight touch the rear brake. If applied with full pressure there comes no noise. I have come to svc twice regarding this issue. And i am in the bajaj svc right now as i am writing this post trying to rectify the same. The first two times they just cleaned the brake pad. Today, the mechanic said he would clean the complete brake calliper. However, i have a feeling that this is an other of theirs "kaamchalau jugaad". The problem is with the disk setup i think. If this time this issue does not get rectified, i am planning to shoot a mail to Bajaj.

Today i took my dominar for a top speed run.. and thrice i tried..everytime speedo limits at 129kmph..it didn't go past this limit.. Although throttle was wide open..and road was empty..is there any issue with my bike? It has done 300kms on the odo. Is it anything related to run-in time period..?or my bike has some mechanical fault..??

There is no such thing like speedo reading limiting to 129kmph during run - in period.
Don't you want to enjoy your bike for long time. Why are you ripping your just 300kms run bike to 130kmph. Do follow proper run in period.
Are you trained to carry that much speed on roads, did you have proper riding gear when you are at that speed.
Remember small pebbles or a dog darting suddenly can unsettle the balance of motorcycle easily at higher speed and the consequences can be catastrophic.
