Read the manual everything is written there, some svc just need to earn out of your pocket. 15 k is the company recommended period but i have seen it last 18k , and 20k in dominar.
The labor charge for chain set replacement is 750 to 850 and around 3.5k is the chain set cost.

Ha ha ha, chain set would not go bad this soon unless u are riding with a very lose chain for a very long time and haven't lubed and cleaned it ever. Few fellow riders got it replaced at 15k one at 12k and one at 18k.
And sorry i guess it is not mentioned in the manual but we were told by the bajaj engineer when we met first time in February 2017 for ecu related issues.

          • Worst bajaj service centre esspee .. haridwar... many complaints about the attitude of the poeple ..

Hey guys ...I visited espee roorkee regarding some vibrations and jarring sounds from head of my dominar before my touring to Manali..they first refused fixing issues in my bike stating that our mechanic is very busy ..bring the bike tomorrow..after that I filed an online complaint regarding my experience with espee.

Next day I got call from espee roorkee stating that let me check with our mechanic if he is free today or not and will call you ..if he is free .then no call was received.

Next day I got message from Bajaj auto that your query has been resolved.

Espee roorkee closed the complaint without resolving the issue.

Then again I filed complaint against them

Today they worked on bike for 2 hours and not able to resolve the issue.

And they again closed the complaint.

Please look into this and let me know what can be done.

I get my bike serviced at mayur bajaj dehradun ..they are the prime example of customer satisfaction.

As it is not possible for me.to visit dehradun for minor issues in bike.

              Hey guys,
Just after 400 kms, there seems to be some issue with the clutch, there was some feedback( at clutch lever) when downshifting and sometimes when just pulling the clutch lever it feels as if the cable has some kind of resistance or obstruction( within the cable), when I gave it for first service, they said it was due to loose cable, they tightened it, now still the problem persists but it is not as often.
At first I thought it was the signs of clutch cable snapping( when a couple of fibers snap you get this loose clutch cable feel).
I don't know if I explained the problem very well, but if anyone else experienced the issue, please do let me know how it was fixed?

BTW, Can someone please help me with a "Dominar Specific" PDI list ? I know the generic PDI, but if anything specific to D400, that'll be great. Thanks in advance.

                      Hi friends,
Today i went for second free service. Everything went well except when i took test ride after servicing. To my horror i realised there was no bite in my front disc brake. I checked the disc and found out that the service centre guys managed to wipe oil / grease in my bikes front disc. I asked the SA and he informed that it will be ok after one day. After reaching home i cleaned the disc and pads with soap 2 / 3 times. Still it has not come to the original state. Now i am really afraid. Whether it will become ok or do i need to do something ? Guyz please give your suggestion. Thanks in advance.

Have you seen Audi/BMW/Jaguar/Mercedes? all have DRLs, so that anyone who is crossing roads be it vehicle or pedestrian can quickly know that the vehicle is approaching them.

Please don't fret unnecessarily, if you envy these things you can setup the same in your vehicle too. Also how can vehicle light be blinding in day time if it's only DRL?
I think what he means to say most rider keep headlamp on high beam irrespective of AHO, I face this issue everyday. Especially with wagon R, Fortuner.

It will be all right. Mildly rub the disk with sand paper. Take the bike out for a low speed round and use the front brakes by applying varying pressures. Its a common problem when service centre workplace is untidy and unorganised.
                          Cheerio!

                            Try this
Get some detergent, mix some Harpic in it. Mix well and wash the disc.
                            Happened with me too.
I did this and brakes were normal again.

Try acetone (nail polish remover) with cotton. Its mentioned in fz25 manual, you can do same on any bike disk rotor.
