Thanks man, actually I posted here for your suggestions [emoji13] [emoji13].. i am damn sure it was from the seal and not from that bolt. Seepage was from left middle of coolant pump. Fixing bond should help for sure.. it was very mild leak..

    Let see how it helps...

Thanks. Test rode a Dominar yesterday and I felt the engine was extremely harsh and was too jerky while accelarating/deccelarating. A staff told, vibration exists because it is a TD bike and that he will provide a new one next week.

If possible ride an owner's bike (i mean your friends). The showroom TD bikes are not maintained properly. Even i was confused when i took 2 / 3 TDs of showroom TD bikes. The bike felt so harsh and rough and i decided to stay away from this bike. But luckily i got to ride one of my friends dominar in our township and that bike was damn smooth compared to the TD bikes. Immediately i decided to go for it and now i am a super happy dominar owner

              Service
1st attempt- issues mentioned tank vibration, coolant pump seepage, handle bar vibration.

Great bajaj svc just changed oil and oil filter. Nothing fixed

2nd attempt- tightened bolds in coolant pump and engine mount .. Still issue

3rd attempt - I personally tried to reach mechanic who works on dominar. Informed all my issues. Luckily he was helpful and asked me to leave a bike for a day.

Effort made- tightened all the bolds, Taps under tank to damp vibs, rubbed metal in foot pegs to damp vibration.
Gasket to stop coolant pump seepage.
Bajaj Spare is not available so paid for ktm coolant pump o ring

Result- wow...felt real dominar feel after 900kms of riding

It's smooth as cbr250 until 5 k rpm. Gear shifting butter smooth. Only then I realised why people praising dominar. Soo happy with its performance.

Only down side after riding my bike in heavy traffic approx 40 km in chennai.

I noticed the seepage in coolant pump again. Why god why???

I am going to take my bike to svc tomorrow.

Any advise/ suggestion regarding this seepage issue..
Update - Today i went to the dealer to check with this issue.

They found there was a crack (manufacturing defect) in right side inner engine case and leakage was from engine not from coolant pump.

Dealer said there is no spare available in chennai and I need to live with this cracked leakage engine case until the replacement part reach their delearship 😏😏😏😏..

*I dont know how on earth bajaj quality check team approved this cracked engine for production.

This is impossible. No matter how bad is the QC from Bajaj's side, a cracked engine is impossible. They must have done something at the time of transit.

It is by design. ECU controls the FI unit. At higher speed they could have tweaked to keep minimum 3K RPM but would have not been a frugal choice.

But unfortunately it is a manufacturing defect, delear agreed after inspection. One need to remove coolant pump to see the crack/hole watever in inner right case of engine. I am waiting for replacement part from bajaj.

Take a snap of the crack, get a confirmation from dealer over an email and forward it to Bajaj higher-ups. Float it in Social Media too to get a replacement bike rather than a engine chassis.

This is absurd that a engine crack has passed QC and ends up on us the consumers. God knows what else are the defect!!

Dealers will not budge and that's the reason mentioned to take it up over social media. Crack in the engine is no joke, you have all the rights to DEMAND a replacement bike. Hope you have followed the instructions of running in religiously.

Don't worry you don't need full engine replacement only the faulty part replacement would do the job, i have seen similar defects in many different brands.
If it not a company specific thing.
Could be a case of over torque from one of the bolt or a pressure plug, if it is there is not plugged correctly.

Bro no one will believe there is a crack in my bike engine as it is smooth as other dominar with no other issues. As i mentioned before one need to remove the coolant pump to have a sight of that mild crack.

But it is not acceptable to have a defective product after spending around 2 lakhs.

I am going to push as much as possible to get a replacement engine. Let see ..

As it is people don't switch to low beam even when you flash them, now people will not even bother to turn the headlight switch to "ON" position where low/high beam selection is activated.

I'm not happy with the beam quality either. I have a Pulsar 220, and aside from a narrower spread, the 220's high beam is similar or slightly better. The Dominar's low beam of course is better, but low beam isn't the life-saver that high beams are.

The time-setting method is a bit tedious, but thank goodness we don't have to do it often.

What irks me most besides the LED lamps not being the giant leap in enlightenment (pardon the simile), is despite the massive detuning, the Dominar's low end torque is worse than the RC390 which I just test rode. The track-leaning, racy RC has better low end torque, with 9hp more, the Dominar top end is dull too in comparison and the Dominar engine scores only on refinement/NVH. Even the Daytona copes way better at 40km/h in 6th gear than the Dominar. On the RC390, I could feel the crank and piston and such trying to break loose out of the crankcase - a bit disconcerting although you forget about it on short rides because you're focusing on the traffic.

Now, I appreciate the NVH advantage over the RC, but with such compromises in both low end and top end? I guess I'll know in about 6 months time if these trade-offs were worth it or not.

BTW, have Dominar owners in Pune got their registrations yet?
I collected mine on 19 Jan , one month ago and still have not received my bike's number. I did get an SMS 2 weeks ago about RTO receipt of INR 16xxx towards registration from the dealer (Krishna Bajaj). Due to lack of number, I haven't really put any serious miles on the clock, can't take it to work because number is mandatory to get gate pass.
Banks take 4-16hrs to do a software upgrade - and banks take software and outages rather seriously, RTO takes 12 days and still is performing worse than before the upgrade.
                                Hi,

Krishna Motors branch at Fatema Nagar is not good. The people there are distroying brand of Bajaj. No doubt Bajaj is good but the people here specially “Bob” one of the responsible person there is a big lair. I bought Dominar from Krishna Motors. It’s been more than a month and even mine bike has not been registered with RTO yet. When I asked Bob he told me it’s not his responsibility now and his tone is aggressive to scare me. Is this what service a customer should get. I have lost trust in Bajaj now. I have been riding Bajaj since 12 years but I will switch to other brand now.
