Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Hey guys,
Can someone suggest good auxiliary lights for dominar? The head light is excellent for city driving and not so great on highways at least for me.
I was looking at allextreme 12 led, 36watt lights. Is it good?
And what's the maximum load can the battery handle without draining?

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Yesterday tried to fit Hazard light on my friend's Dominar but the lights are blinking with dim lights while the engine is turned on, but with ignition turned off it's working absolutely fine. Mechanic said it needs some sort of machine to support normal hazard lighting which I have already seen on Youtube.
The same mechanic did the same hazard light in my CBR a month back and it's working good. He said Dominar and CBR has some different mechanism and was explaining some technical things though I didn't understood those.
Can anyone throw some pointers what is the difference between Dominar and CBR in terms of this electrical? And do Dominar really need that machine to support normal hazard light?

There is no need to cut any wires , so u r safe as long as nothing is cut, just take it off if ever u need to claim warranty. I have got this same 30 modes one. But i only use it while tailing a group or the weather is real bad.Originally posted by srinikasyap View PostWhat about the electrical warranty????

One more thing the flasher rely for led and non led indicators are different, may be this is the reason that cbr one has not worked on dominar. Make sur u buy led flasher rely for DoMinar.Originally posted by srinikasyap View PostI badly needed this one. Agreed unless we cut them we are good. Will do it.

Yes that's what I wanted to confirm. The mechanic did just some wiring for Hazard light on my CBR and the same didn't worked on Dominar. So Dominar need a rely.Originally posted by Ijs View PostOne more thing the flasher rely for led and non led indicators are different, may be this is the reason that cbr one has not worked on dominar. Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Well the machine is available at Kolkata market too. So availability is not an issue, just that my friend is not willing to spent 500rs for hazard light. The machine cost is probably 550 approx as told by the mechanic.Originally posted by Ijs View PostThe video link i shared has a whatsapp contact number of the guy. I think he will ship it to u.
