This statement of "fill tank to the top and then empty it completely" from the Bajaj SVC is quite absurd. If the tank is empty, will the SVC folks come to assistance with a bottle of petrol?

Reserve to reserve method is quite accurate. The bikes with FI have to contend with tank-to-tank method only because there is no reserve mechanism available. And even the Tank-to-tank method doesn't need to empty your tank. It involves filling your tank to max, setting the trip meter to zero and riding. After completing a good number of kms(like ~ 220-250 kms depending on the bike), fill the tank again. Note the amount of fuel filled. Check the trip meter reading. Divide km on trip meter by petrol quantity and you get your mileage figures.
Riding a bike is like flying.... All your senses are alive...

The absurdity doesn't end there , my bike is only 6 months old and from the beginning it's been giving only 15- 16 KMPL after I complained to Bajaj they did some tuning and some air filter change ( after huge fights ) now I am getting 20 - 25 KMPL. I have done 1liter tank to empty , 3 liters tank to empty and reserve to reserve , still Bajaj is insisting on doing 10 liter tank to empty check . They refuse to even touch the bike without checking it like they say . I have complained to Bajaj , spoken to regional manager for service and tried everything , it's useless . The 10 liter check will end Tomo and I am still getting 25 KMPL , I'll have to visit that horrible SVC again

25 Kmpl is within acceptable range for this bike. What mileage are you expecting?

The company themselves are claiming 35 KMPL and most of the NS200 owners I know are getting Atleast 35KMPL . So expecting 35

Enjoy the ride....i have done 16000km and mostly getting 25 to 30 depending upon my style of riding, so just enjoy and don't get too tensed with all the mileage things which most of the people coming from the lower cc bike expect

I am just worried that given the fact the bike is new there is no mileage what will happen after few years ? Or what if there is an underlying problem ?.

6500 kms and like I have told many others I have followed the run in speeds and RPM limits and I haven't crossed 100 KMPH speed till today .
( Had to elaborate cause the it said minimum 10 characters [emoji14] )

See it's not all about the run in periods ....it's always about driving in variable rpm , but in your case u r getting low mileage, just get ur air filter checked and Tyre pressure and if possible while servicing the vehicle be there and get in services in front of you....and for sure u r going to get what u dreamed .i.e one good ride and a good companion for years

                          Hi

Just completed run in, 2200 km in odo happy with my bike performance.

But there are vibs when rpm reach 4.5 k in every gear.. i know its a big single and it will vibrate. My question is does my dominar vibrates as it should be or it is vibrating a lot, I dont have any friends who own dominar to compare.

When ever i come across reviews and some ownership experience saying thier bike feels butter smooth with negligible vibes. It makes me think like does my domi got any prob with handle bar as I cant see things behind (mirror) when engine rpm clocks 4.5 k and above.

I suspect issue in handle bar because in some rare occasions when i ride over speed breaker or applying front break in slow speed (alone) not in high speed. I used to hear cluck noise (not always) from the front.

Already mentioned the same in first service they said handle bar is fully tightened. When i asked to check cone set. They said it should be fine.

Pc: double sided tapes are used to stopped vibes from tank and foot pegs. But there are vibes in handle bar.

                          Any advise.. thanks

The vibes are normal bro. Even I have them till now. The more distance you cover the more smoother it gets. My bike smoothened out at 2500kms. Try using higher octane fuel, it definitely makes a difference (I use Indian oil XtraPremium).
Also make sure your engine oil is on the right level. For some reason my bike burned engine oil way too early, getting below minimum and causing lot of vibrations. If that's the case get your oil topped up.

                            Have a great day!

Since your bike is a carburetor one the way to check fe is with the 100 ml or 200ml bottle chek. Ask ur svc to do it threaten them with consumer court. Ns 200 should give a fe of 35kmpl.
Below is the bottle i am talking about , almost all service centers has this even local mechanics too.
Seems like there is something wrong with the carb like a damaged daiphagram.

Is it me or everyone feel that leaning dominar in a corner is very easy and it is addictive. Now a days I am learning to lean in my dominar and it comes out to be very easy in this bike
