Another aspect I observed during my road trip, and has been covered recently in the conversation is headlights.
The headlight is great till the time it's a pitch dark road. But the moment there's a glaring high beam (which is coming in Pune) the white light is overshadowed.
It's a personal experience I don't know if anyone of you have experienced- the right shoulder pains after 6-7 hours of riding, not sure if it's bike specific or me specific. Has anyone experienced this??
Hazard Lights are pretty straight forward. review this video and you'll find a quick solution.

I wouldn't bother much about the gear indicator. It just becomes your second nature eventually.
The only worthy upgrade IMO are warm lights. I have a feeling that rainy days will cause poor visibility.
any kind of electrical mod will void the warranty. unless you can outsmart them by unplugging the devices before give your bike for service/maintenance.
Yes.. pretty much.. call your respective service centre and ask for availability before going
Please let us know how it goes, Pune doesnt have any update as of today. not that I desperately need it but I am really hoping to get a bit more grunt in low end.
I think with a mod...gear indicator can be installed... I've an idea for that... Being mechanical engineer i don't think it's impossible... Just need a sensor connected to gear shift lever which would then detect the position of lever and then display the number on a small single digit led display... Although can't comment on accuracy...
Hi Ghostfreak,
I dont mean to belittle you or anyone else who is asking for gear indicator on the bike, but for the life of me, I do not understand its requirement. Any discerning biker would be able to gauge which gear he/she is in just by the acceleration and sound characteristics of his/her bike. I agree when the bike is new, for the first couple of weeks, there may be some confusion, but I do not understand its relevance after the first month once a rider gets accustomed to their respective bike.
I think having a neutral light and upshift indicator/rpm limit light is more than enough. Maybe its just me. Didnt mean to come off as arrogant, just that i never felt the need for a gear indicator.

Precisely... Beginners may require Gear Indicator.. But one should learn to Gauge the gear position..
I have clocked almost 2K on my Dominor 400 Abs in Bangalore.
I took the bike from Amba Bajaj, Bommanahalli and I feel that their approach towards dominar customers are indifferent from other customers.
Whenever I approach them for some noise/vibration issues, they just dismiss it saying 'bigger engine' , 'thats how the ecu is' and all that.
Is there some active whatsapp group here in Blore?, So that such issues wont eat my head and can go for some weekend rides.
I mean, seriously.. my bike doesn't do this. I am almost dead below 2k RPM.
Hi,
I have done this only in the first gear, frankly I did not know you can go auto throttle till 5th! Extremely surprising. Will try this in the evening today. But yes to answer your question even below 2000 rpms if I release the clutch without any throttle inputs the bike moves at around 11 kmph. This is even with a pillion.

Thanks brother, please note that we must not do such things. It is extremely bad for an engine. I am just curious to know if that amount of power is really available? In 2-6 gear?

Will take caution when I try this buddy. Thanks for the heads up about it being bad for the engine. Will try to update tomorrow. I think the ECU update is also around the corner. Curious to know how positively it affects the bike. Am tired of the throttle cutoff/lag.
