Bad news for any of us wanting to claim warranty against our faulty MRF tyres that have any cuts or openings 😕

[emoji24] [emoji24] [emoji24] Seems like Terms And Conditions are meant only for the safeguard of manufacturer. There is no way we can claim anything.Bajaj should take up with MRF team to improve the tyres. This is not how new tyres behave. Will be dropping a mail myself to the customer care.Let see what they have to say regarding this.

I have personally touched 161kmph on speedo in my Mockingbird but i bet the actual is much lower than that.
And same goes for CBR i do not intend to hurt any feelings. These speedo errors are there to cause a happy feeling.
And motorcycle riding is not all about top speeds and don't get why this new breed of Indian biker gives so much fuss about the top speed. And yes the revv limiter in my bike never annoy me as the speed the bike is capable of with the current limiter is already fast enough for our roads and the fact is at speeds above 120kmph the bike becomes a heavy drinker. And the limiter is there as a failsafe.
Don't know what the guys would achieve by removing the limiter and would they race is on the track everyday to exploit the new limiter, i doubt.
All they wanted to to do is to ride it on the city streets with the limiter removed and be street ROSSI endangering their own life and other road users.

Now others are welcome to bash me up.
Absolutely spot on IJS bro..It's so irritating to see all these so called "bikers" trying to be Moto GP riders n stunt riders too..Just yesterday, a kid riding a Duke 250 escaped getting hurt by an SUV while performing a stoppie near my place..Fortunately, we have a 6 lane road circling my locality & this kid just pulled off a stoppie out of nowhere at a traffic signal without realizing that a safari was braking right behind him..
Everybody at the signal was aghast at how carelessly this kid pulled a stunt & sped off as soon as he realized his fault..🙄

For my D4 this works. Shifts are done in just a press on the gear lever. I don't know how to justify that technically, but it works for me

And yes shifting at higher rpm is recommended .
I know, but i heard MOTUL is better than TOTAL

Foue me motul 7100 and 300v have both been good choices for a smoother engine as well as shifts.
Try the following in order, it worked for me
          1. Clutch cable adjustment till the first gear thud is softer.
          2. Got a rubber glove for the gear. Trust me, it feels better.
          3. Change gears around 4000 rpm, find that sweet spot.
          3. Delay upshifts in the first 5 min. Gears change better with a warmed up engine.
          5. Switch to Motul
          6. Don't upshift just to save on gas. Stay in a lower gear in traffic

It will get better you put on the miles till it dies not bother you.

          Has anyone changed tyres?

Thank u sir, I will definitely try this
Actully Downshifts are making much noise [KHAT sound] than upshifts, even i went to service centre too but the mechanic reply was "Bada bike hai, jyada torque hai, aawaj to karega hi na "
That's why i am planning to change the oil, hope it will make some difference

I swear!!! Why even bother providing warranty with such terms, Ughhh sooo frustrating 😫😣😑

I hope they respond to your e-mail and maybe your able to get some more clarification regarding all of this. I believe Bajaj would make a note of this as they noticed everyone's complaints with the pathetic TVS Eurogrip tyres provided with the 1st & 2nd Gen NS and they began switching them from the 3rd Gen NS with the MRF Revz which are definitely better but as we can see, not the best either 😢

No tyre company covers cuts and nics happened due to sharp objects. And this here is a soft compound tyre so cuts can happen. You have to see Diablo ross2 on mojo to see how many cuts it picup with normal riding.
I personally feels this is by far the best Indian tyre in terms of grip level. And if it had been metz or pirelli the cut would have been deeper.
If it is not leaking air then just let it be as it is and just check how deep it is with help of a coin.

I agree on the tyres. MRF Revz C are good tyres and they do alright in the rain. Even a small nail can cut thru a truck tyre so no point blaming a grippy soft compound tyre. Rocks and gravel are abrasive on the treads but only metal can cause a cut or gash like that.
For smoother gear upshifts , would also recommend this video https://youtu.be/MIhycth8msU

I agree about the tyres to a certain extent, as the quality of our roads are to be blamed as well, but MRF tyres are known to be having quality issues.

Regarding the video for improving gear shifts, it would have been helpful if our Dominars had a hydraulic clutch as shown in the video (guessing the bike is a Honda Goldwing here).

Our Dominars unfortunately use a clutch cable and my pre-loading the clutch doesn't help much and in fact isn't recommended in bikes with clutch cables as it puts a great deal of stress on the cable and you could end up snapping it.

On bikes like the Goldwing which have a hydraulic clutch, its recommended to continuously use the clutch more often so that the clutch fluid circulates well and maintains the vacuum by not allowing air pressure to ever build up.

Not my 2 cents but knowledge picked up while I have actually worked on how various hydraulic systems function, including Vehicle clutch hydraulics. 😉

Something new to learn everyday. Maybe i misinterpreted the tutorial. I did not preload the clutch. Just positioned the foot under the gear and applied slight pressure till i feel it pushing back. That was the positioning.
Then as quick as can, rev and (blip + pull clutch + upshift).
No loss of power, no delay, just quick shift. I love it when i get that right.

                        Guys, need ur inputs here..
A week back, I went over a small but nasty pothole on a dark stretch of road near my place..ever since then, I have noticed a squeaking sound from the front part of my Domi..the noise is there until about 10-12 Kmph but as I gain speed, either it disappears or I can't hear it..but it is definitely always there in the 1-15 Kmph range..can anybody please suggest what should I check for myself before I take it to the SVC?
Also, my 4500 kms are up but the service icon hasn't lit up in the console for 2nd service..any inputs/suggestions there?
                        Thanks already

Check the front disk break for and dents and the rim too. Compress the front suspension by loading it pressing break and see if there is any noise or leakage. And do check the headlamp and meter assembly for any sound.
Is there while pushing it by hand?

Just checked the disk n rim..thankfully, no dents or deformation there..no sound on compressing the front shocker either..
The sound seems to be coming from the part where the front wheel is attached to the fork..it's there only when the bike moves slowly..🤔

I posted earlier on this issue. I have the same problem, squeaking from the wheel. Seems like it could be wheel bearings but the SC told me it's plastic bushing that makes the noise.
They sprayed lube which helped for 2 min and then it was back.
Take it to the SC and let us know how it goes.
