I think this guy is exaggerating the reset procedure, with 20mins waiting.....

All you have to do is to drain all charges in the circuit.

For that Just disconnect the -ve terminal, then turn the key to ON position and apply front or rear brakes for some time. Connect the -ve terminal back and check if the clock is reset to 12:00.

I did it on my byke while fixing the aux lamp not intentionally, and I felt the difference in next ride.

I use to do the same in my car as other wise during summer and rainy/cold season, the throttle responce will be different or sluggish.

Applying breaks is to drain charges quickly through the tail lamps.

I have been contemplating booking a Dominar and have taken couple of very short test rides. My primary ride at the moment is RE CL350 and couple of aspects I do not like about RE are lack of engine refinement and not so good handling. After going through all posts here as well as many reviews online, the one negative of Dominar which almost everyone has highlighted are the vibes at certain rpms. My query is how does engine refinement of Dominar and the vibes compare to those on a RE bike?

My test rides on Dominar were quite short to notice any vibes or probably they were not very prominent as the test ride had already done more than 2500 kms.

While some reviews say the engine is quite refined some mention otherwise. Mighty confused!

abhisheklalnediya brother i have only made the ecu reset video after getting requset from many riders in our whatsapp group , who have done it and felt that it helped them. And you are right with the ur method of resetting , there are always more than one way to carry the same process. But the way i did it is very simple one and risk free and harmless, just clock reset needed after it.
Also i have clearly stated that this process is only to clear the data ambiguity by clearing the cache or memory bunk of ecu, and in result eliminate the error codes too. And in no way it can take the ecu back to map one, that requires proper obd tool.
And by waiting for 20mins i am not exaggerating at all ,that is the way i did it first time , the guy who told me the process is a good trained mech working only on fi bikes at factory level he now gives training to new guys.
Also if u search for ecu reset u might end up reading the same technique for other bikes aswell.

I do not wants to be popular or something like it by making the video i just wanted others to also get the benefits of it as few others already have got. And i also mentioned about getting the throttle body and injector cleaned if the reset doesn't help.
I only shared this info first time when a guy in our grou is facing big time throttle lag and missing in his bike and svc was not able to provide any solution for it, so i gave him my inputs he tried it and shared the experience with other too.
Please do not take my words as a argument , i am just clearing my point here.

Oh man, I did not mean to hurt you, Sorry if I did.

Actually I felt the video confusing as you were asking to wait for several minutes several times.
Also I did not check the uploader and thought benz just posted a random video.

Any way good luck for your youtube channel.

Also 1 more thing I saw the scissor lift video of yours. I doubt the exhaust box can handle that pressure on a point. Did you try placing it on the right swing arm??
I am also planning to lube the chain this week end.

He he he i am not offended i any ways brother.
For the scissor jack placement swing arm is out of reach , but i did palce a rubber thingy between stand and ex box so to avoid slippage. But would try placing it near front footpeg next time as i have seen a pic for the same some where , dont remember where, teambhp i guess.
Thank for wishes on my yt channel but i am not very serious on it just shared something i did.

I am also using car scissor jack. I think box can take load. You should not lift too much. But the side stand tilts. I doubt the side stand can take such a huge load

My thoughts on the leg guard is that it isnt a leg guard at all, in fact it is actually an "engine guard". The Bajaj guys (showroom staff) themselves refer to it as such. Its the same as was in the NS. Not certain about the thickness of the rods though, they may be marginally more but I doubt it.

I can say this with quite a bit of confidence that during an accident they will to an extent save the bike from falling on your leg, however their primary purpose is to shield the engine in case of a fall, and I can testify that in that regard they work very well. You can see that in terms of length, they are smaller than conventional leg guards, in fact i think they barely extend beyond the width of the handlebar. If you truly feel the need, do upgrade to a bigger set in the after market. Though it messes with the looks of the bike, it will protect your legs far better than the current ones.
Changing the engine guard will kill the looks it has. So I shall stick to the stock guard.

The refinement levels of the Dominar 400 are light years ahead from what offers Yes, almost all singles will have vibrations, and you, after coming from the 350 will know the refinement levels are much better in the Dominar after taking a test ride. Some vibrations at particular RPMs are unavoidable, as some parts go under harmonic vibrations from the engine which falls at certain RPMs. Though these can be sorted by using good quality engine oil during the servicing period, and making sure the chain is on the right slack. On the bright side, you get an engine that's rev happy, got ABS, has far better build quality than RE plus it's a whole lot affordable than the RE.

Take a thorough test drive and then make a decision. If you're into power-cruiser type, you cannot go wrong with the Dominar.

Cheers!

The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Do not worry about the stand it would hold , as it is already keeping most of the bikes weight just try not to put any extra pressure or weight on it while doing any thing.

Exactly. I was very disappointed with the reply. They chose not to say anything about the odo reading or the exact details of their procedure.i am going to follow their trail.. BTW does any one have the twitter handle of Bajaj?

My bikes odo is at 240 km. But the engine oil level and coolant level has dropped considerably. Is it normal? Can I ride till first service? There is no visible leakages.

Hi buddy,

I am assuming that the levels are low after keeping the bike in upright position for few minutes .

Look for any leaks.

I have not found any leaks. At first coolant was at the middle of max and min. But now in the min level. And oil level was at middle of the circle. Now it is at the bottom.

Do you see a a change in coolent color? If not, nothing to worry. Go to service centre and ask them to top both.
