No need to cut wires...
If you cut and something goes wrong, svc's won't entertain you... remember that..
If you are okay with basic hazard light with single pattern with all 4 indicator blinking in fast rate or slow rate, you can get it done for ₹250. All you need to know is few basic electrical stuff knowledge, need a bit of patience and basic parts.
1. DC indicator flasher from Pulsar 150 bikes (Bulb indicator flasher for fast blink rate, LED indicator flasher for slow default blink rate) - ₹110
2. No. IN4007 Diodes, 2 quanity - ₹10
3. Simple On/Off Switch - ₹40
4. 3 meter 12V rated wire - ₹60
5. 10A fuse - ₹15
6. Insulation Tape - ₹15
Access to a soldering iron will be good but not mandatory.
You will not be cutting any wires, just connection 1 wire to battery +ve terminal, 2 wires one each into L and R indicator removable socket near taillight.
Everything is revertible to stock condition and warranty will not be voidBajaj SuperFE 150 - Forever in my heart

amazon now has their own brand of bike covers, branded as solimo.Originally posted by super_fatman View PostWanted to buy a cover for my dominar as I'll be going out of town for a month. Was searching on Amazon but everything had a mixed review. Did anyone buy a cover for the bike which serves the purpose of protecting it from the dust ? Could you share the link please
I bought one a few months ago, and it does a good job. I picked up the model recommended for the bullet, and it very well fits (slightly bigger) for my duke. Had it covered for a month, and not a spec of dust on removing it !
It isn't like those tarpaulin material thick covers, but a thinner water resistant material like most bike covers.
this is what i am using.. and should easily fit the dominar too.

probably since 2019 the wiring is changed a bit.. looks like that at least on the ktm from the info i've been able to gather.Originally posted by ashislakra1989 View PostNo one has ever put hazard lights on new Dominar 2019 without cutting wires ?

pl check with the seller before ordering.
also as another member kiran2508 pointed out, a little of manual wiring (without cutting any stock wires) is possible to get the hazard light functionality albeit a single default pattern. definitely not as easy as a plug n play module with multiple patterns.

After getting fixed footage.Originally posted by Petronius View PostAre you asking for the footage of the engine noise before the service? If so here is the footage: https://youtu.be/9EIid2_A_Ig
If the sound is similar, plz take your bike to the service station as soon as possible. You dont want to risk it out with a brand new bike

For someone who is on tight on budget to not throw away money on some startup home made product and values money over functionality, then I've posted the basic DIY.

Do share the wiring diagram for everyone, afterall it's best put sooner to use, so that everyone benefits of it.
Edit your old post and put in the diagram, it'll be extremely helpful for Domigans here.
Cheers!

Sadly I continue the have the issue albeit with little intensity as compared to before. The buzz in the handlebar has increased to a greater extent. Engine has become coarse as well. Need to take the bike again to the service station on monday. This is turning out to be some bad experience with the bike. Here is how the bike sounds now. https://youtu.be/gs0GuWCAZAIOriginally posted by ashislakra1989 View PostAfter getting fixed footage.

Hi VJ have you checked the rings by cutting the chain. Afaik the stock chain is also Rolon and price is on same side, the only thing is that Rolon has now started selling it off the shelf in open Market. No one has till now broken the oem chain and checked where it is o or x. But one thing is sure that stock is Rolon there is R logo on each alternate link.Originally posted by B7ACKTHORNThe stock one comes with O-ring only. The after market, Rolon does have an X ring option. O-ring, X-ring or Z ring, for our conditions, proper chain maintenance coupled with proper slack and periodic lubing will help chain prolong its life and provides for a smoother, crisper throttle feel and performance.
Cheers!
VJ
And that over hyped gold x ring is just a color of chain with no additional advantage.

As I mentioned earlier, I suspect the timing chain and cam chain tensioner. Since, they've replaced, as you mentioned the rocker arm and a few items, I am not sure they've maintained the right shim clearances for all four valves. Do get the clearances re-inspected, also get the CCT replaced, just in case.Originally posted by Petronius View PostSadly I continue the have the issue albeit with little intensity as compared to before. Oh Inder, how I wish I could have sliced the pins wide open and check. When I last checked with the KTM head here for the same, although this topic came completely unnatural when we were talking about chain slack in the Dukes. And incidentally, he's said to me that, all KTM bikes and Dominar for that matter their chains are manufactured by Rolon and they are all O-ring chains, and when even manual mentions the same, why take the risk of killing an already dead chain.
Cheers!

Ha ha that's good, but when i had a conversation with asm of bajaj he told me it is x ring and they mentioned it as o coz both o and x are actually round rings.Originally posted by B7ACKTHORN View PostAs I mentioned earlier, I suspect the timing chain and cam chain tensioner. We have actually have to cut the ring and see the face to clear this confusion [emoji1787][emoji1787].
Would ask in the group if someone in Changing the chain to break it up and cut the ring.

Oh dear heavens! This cracked me up so bad, Inder. These showroom guys, what were they thinking "cos both are actually round rings"Originally posted by Ijs View Postis x ring and they mentioned it as o coz both o and x are actually round rings.

No, you need not split a chain to see if it's O ring or X right, the very diameter of the X ring will show up with some ridges, indicating it's an X ring, basically, the oil gets locked in the pockets of V both up and down, hence provide better lubrication. But again I could be wrong, because I for sure know the Dukes have a some ridges on their chain O rings and it can mean it's an X ring.
But, you can be right, perhaps the showroom guys might have generically said these are O rings instead of X rings.
Cheers!

It must be brass or similar metal coating to prevent rusting. I vaguely remember someone posting TIDC chain for Gixxer 155 where the box claimed that 'gold' plating is to prevent corrosion.Originally posted by Ijs View PostAnd that over hyped gold x ring is just a color of chain with no additional advantage.
