I had my first service done today and I asked the service guy about changing the gear shift indicator to the main display but he said that some customers had some complaints about the new update (some bugs). He then said that all dominar owners will be called when the update is stable.(Location : Kerala)
Yes, there's some issue with new update and console as well. The Trip meters seem to reset every now and then and even after two updates, it still hasn't fixed. Console seems to have speedometer issue like after 30 it shows 35, no 31, 32, 33, 34 in between.. Similarly at high speeds also. Hopefully to get it fixed soon with new update. As of now, you don't need 2nd update as its not a substantial update whatsoever.

That should be air filter housing drainage hose. For some reason it's popped out from way inside. Make sure, routed again and tucked in. Nothing to worry.

        Cheers!

        The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Last I heard from the service technician is that there is some issue with the valves and the rocker arm and that they would replace them under warranty. Hope it would be sorted out. If anyone had faced a similar issue kindly enlighten on what was done to rectify it. Thank you.
Even i hear a noise like this but not this loud. I would say 10% volume of the ticking sound your getting. Do let us know what SVC people do to resolve this.

Is ther any problem with the bolts on dominar ug
it (not in place exposed to rain)
            1)Rust on bolts
NB: I am parking my bike at a parking lot with cover on
If this is the condition of bolts after 1 month i am afraid about its future performance
            2)crash gaurd nut !!!

I dont think i can rely on this bike for “hyperrides” as this nuts may fail any time
Please help me am i the only one facing this issue

Crash guard bolt is a known issue in the new dominar , mainly breaks as they have increased the weight of the crash guard earlier it used to lighter. On previous gen Dominar one side bolt used to break with heavy guards like zana or shyadri.
Solution is get the broken bolt out from your service center and use buy a similar size steel bolt in place of the that bolt but make sure it won't damage the threads.

And for the rust on the panel bolt it is nothing they will replace it or simply use wd40 on it to remove rust. I had similar rusted bolt on my first gen 2017 Dominar but never faced any issues due to that my dear wd40 was always ready to help.

Thanks buddy. I just received my bike today. The SVC told that they have replaced the rocker arms and the rocker shaft. He told that the issue was with one of the rocker arm but they didn't want to take a risk so they changed the entire set. Hopefully that is the case and nothing more. They failed to give any bill whatsoever. I insisted to get a bill on what was done to my bike. They just showed a job card in which the rocker arm and shafts were mentioned. Bike is all good as of now. Will have to observe over a period of time to give a final word on the fix.

Thanks for the quick reply. I am able to half foot on both side when on bike. Just worried may be due to long hiatus from riding.
I am mostly confused between Interceptor and Dominar but then Dominar earns more brownie points as VFM bike, less weight comparatively, tubeless tyre and all things RE

I only use to touch my toes[emoji38][emoji38][emoji38].
I keep one foot down approach on the side where the road is high.
Interceptor has a slim and narrow seat compared to Dominar on my Interceptor i can plant my feet better.
Learn to move your bum around the seat to keep the foot down and more importantly try to get rid of this mental block. Wee need to ride the thing not paddle it.
I never even put my feet down on your turns.

Are you asking for the footage of the engine noise before the service? If so here is the footage: https://youtu.be/9EIid2_A_Ig

If the sound is similar, plz take your bike to the service station as soon as possible. You dont want to risk it out with a brand new bike
