I used ep90 which I bought (loose) from a shop in Nana peth. They have big drums filled with oil. I bought 120 ml last time to try.
I finished it so I bought this bottle yesterday.
I lubed my chain with it In the morning but I felt that it's not as thick as previous one.

Is it the same ? Or am I using wrong one ?? Or should I change to ep140 for summer ?Click image for larger version

I just ordered HP Gear Oil EP140 considering Pune is super dusty and summer is arriving fast.
App doesn't allow PNG format of screenshot, which is weird. [emoji53]

Guys I'm nearing my 4th service. 14300km on odo.
Last 2 days I have been facing these issues.
            1. Applying front brakes suddenly, there is a "khat" sound in handle bar or shocks. Not able to make out where exactly.
            2. Experiencing a big pull in rear sprocket area whenever I accelerate. This happens in almost all gears. More often in lower gears when the rpm is lower. For eg around 4.5k-5k. (Not so low that I'm lugging).
            3. Engine braking when decelerating seems to be more especially in lower gears. Soon as leave the throttle, seems as if I already applied brakes! And then point 2 happens again.
So I have been riding the clutch a lot more than usual to keep the ride smooth.
Can you guys suggest what all needs to be checked in 4th service.
            Thanks

              For
              1. Coneset looks to be gone. Do get it changed.
              2. Either the chain is not tightened to the right specs or it's life is over.
              3. It is most likely the outcome of the point number 2. There's more drag on the bike hence the feel of more engine braking. Are thr tyres up to the correct air pressure?

                Thanks Akash.
                1. Will check it.
                2. I have been cleaning the chain regularly and lubing as per suggestions here. I don't see any physical wear on chain or front and rear sprocket teeth. Must be loose chain. I had complained to Svc 3 times and they tightened slack only on 3rd complaint.
Tyre pressure is maintained as per manual. I usually refill every 1 week to 10 days. While refilling, usually there is 1-2 psi difference in meter when the air pump starts.

I tried this for 200kms in a 4 lane highway.
Shifted gears at 3.5- 4k and rode it 4-4.5k@80-85 speed and got the mileage of 31.4

                  Next 200kms i tried.
                  @ 4k shifting and cruised at 5-5.5k ,90-95km speed. Mileage was 33.4

Solo ride.. new front tyre 28psi
Rear almost worn out tyre 32psi.
New chain sprocket.. oiled and adjusted before the trip.
Ive completed 1500km and i am getting a average of 21.any suggestions how would i improve it.

I am sorry to break it to you, but the max you can expect from 373cc single cylinder pot(be it on Bajaj or KTM) pretty much max is 22-24 in bumper to bumper city traffic or if ridden in a siprited manner!
35-38 avg on highway @constant cruising speeds of 80-100kmph!

The best you could try is drive sedately @40-50kmph on left lane with constant check on your throttle to get more mileage!

Instead suggest you to enjoy the ride putting the mileage behind.

Bhai it means u are yet to complete run in km that's 2000km. Its always good to check the mileage after run in period and once first oil change done.
It ll improve pretty much once service is done.
If u r getting 21 in city condition then it's a good mileage as of now i hope.
Maintain instructed speed and rpm for run in period.

                      Happy riding.

Do they insisted you to go for update?.
If not then its not good to update bro unless if u have any problem with the existing ecu. (Here my SVC guy told that don't go for update if bike is ok.. coz some of them facing missing problem )
And 118 is the last ECU update given by bajaj.
as of i know, bike would take intial 2-3hrs for adjusting itself for the latest update.
If problem is still exists u need to go with SVC guys suggestions.

Version 118 was for non-ABS. I was facing a lag (sometimes) after changing the gear. Hence they decided to move to the latest version of ECU version. But that resulted in huge lag post 90 KMs/hr plus RMP drop.

Had to flash back to ECU 117, that resolved the problem instantly. Thanks got this didn't happen while on a long ride. Check and rode at speed of 130 Kms/hr without any problem.

Anyone else faced a similar problem?

                                Hi,

Installed the adjustable clutch from Duke 390. Felt the difference in build quality, more premium. I will change the front lever to adjustable once it's available at my place.

                                Attached is are few pics:
