For the tight chain you can adjust the slack should be between 20 to 30mm , make sure to measure it with wheel on ground or bike on the paddock stand(swingarm should bear the weight of the motorcycle) keep it straight as possible.

I am getting irritated with Dominar's chain adjustment.

The mechanic keeps adjusting the chain on the tighter side. I got the 2nd free service done yesterday and he again adjusted the chain without my request to do so, he left it with ZERO slack. Went back there to get it rectified in my presence. Now the irritating part is that before tightening the axle nuts, the chain slack was exactly 2.2 cms and chain was already touching the swingarm and slider on the top. Then after tightening all the nuts, slack was reduced to 1.5 cms only! Is it okay to keep 1.5 cms or should I get it adjusted again till it's 2 cms at least?

1.5cm is on the tighter side 2.2 with chain resting in top of the slider is perfectly ok.
Dominar has this issue where tightening the Axle makes it slide forward , best way is to hold the square blocks by hand while tightening the axel to prevent it from sliding forward. Make sure to measure the and adjust the slack with wheel on the ground or bike in paddock stand(swing arm should be loaded with bikes weight).

Guys, I had posted a download link to the Dominar 400 service/repair manual. I have lost the PDF file and the link has also expired now. Could anyone please send me the manual if they have downloaded it?

Guys, does swapping standard round disc brake plates with Petal disc on our 2018 Dominar requires and alterations of stock brake pads/calipers?

No If you swap with right size no changes required, But suggest you to change pads once you change disk.
Usually old pads would have rubbed against old disk and if old disk has developed a pattern of of your old disk due to continues rubbing.
I mean old disk would have different pressure points where it has reduced and forms a ring pattern.

Thus with new disk the pads with pattern can impact new disk , Else sand it and use old pads if they still have more life.

The rear disc of NS/RS which is of same size is a direct fit, but as far as front disk is concerned the only option I could think of is Mahindra Mojo as it's front Petal disc size is 320 mm but am not sure if that gonna fit on the front rim of Dominar.

Btw, can we expect improvements in terms of braking if switched to Petal Disc?

                      Hi Everyone,
I am a new user on xbhp. I own a dominar 400 2019 bike. It has completed 1 year of running. Can I get some help on the following issues/things I have noticed recently on my dominar.
                      1. RPM Fluctuation - how much rpm variation is ok at idle. I feel the RPM Fluctuation is noticeable. If put on a paddock stand and 1st gear engaged the speed varies from 8kmph to 11kmph. Is this normal?
                      2. Fuel Tank range - From past 4 , full tank , my km range is not going above 350 - 360 Kms. Earlier on full tank I was getting a Range between 395km to 411km. What could be the issue.
                      3. I asked the service centre to update my speed console , so that I can get the gear indicator on the primary console. Is this update stable? Or I should not get it done?

                      Thanks
                      Jayant
                      Hi guys ,
Regarding my query - Point 2 - Tank range.
My last 2 full fuel tank ranges are back to 390km + . Don't know how. I have even got a range of 423km displayed on my console.
Last ride of 220km gave me a FE of 34kmpl. (Pic attached)Click image for larger version

I think you have old model Dominar , from 2019 Dominar is also getting petal disk . So you can buy Dominar disk itself you'll get petal disk itself.
apart from good heat dissipation no other use from petal disk .

It is a direct fit, but it is a 3.5mm disc. Dom comes with a 4mm disc. Brake feel is greatly reduced after the swap, first hand experience.

You might be talking about the BS6 Dominar 400. I have a 2019 UG, no petal disc.

Cracks are showing on the sidewall of the rear tyre. Stock MRF Revz, 6000km run. Does it need replacement?

The tyre also has three puncture plugs, how many are considered too many plugs?
