Then they said Vibration kit is not for 2018 model and returned. After pressing too much - they just tightened the speedo console screws by removing the headlight unit (PS: I insisted to stay in the showroom until they install the kit). Called bajaj customer care and they getting standard reply "contact nearest service center". I live in Mysore, Karnataka.

Now what? Need guidance and support from this forum.

    Warm Regards

Everyone was saying the same that it's for 2017 model only. I believed that. But in the showroom the manager himself told me the details about anti vibration kit and chain slider clamp.
They installed it infront of me.

is it normal for coolant to reduce after 1000kms
I had it above max before a trip.
After reaching back its reduced and now stays Above min mark.
No coolant mixing with engine oil.checked that.
          Is this normal

It is possible only if your bike was constantly running hot. Check for leakage

It happens if your bike is new.... Otherwise not. Unless it's leaking....

Check for leaks as suggested by others and also check if the radiator and reservoir caps are properly closed.

                  Hi Guys,

Took delivery of 2018 Dominar 400 ABS on 30th January 2019. I'm sure you all must be wondering why I picked this when the launch of 2019 version is just around the corner?

You see, I was confused between Tvs Apache RTR 200 Fi and 2019 Yamaha Fazer 25 ABS. Then I came across an article about how some dealers were offering discount on 2018 Dominar 400.

So I walked into my nearest Bajaj showroom to try my luck and after a thorough discussion with the showroom owner I got it for 1.70L On road (Standard Onroad price in my city is 1.96L for ABS).Click image for larger version

As suggested by everyone checked Full radiator housing and all pipes connected to It.
Noticed a bend just below the radiator outlet right side.
To confirm the spot idled engine for about 15 minutes and 2 times the fan came on..and the 3rd time coolant was seeping through the bend pipe.
Straight away took it to service center.
                    Thats were the drama unfolds.
Few days before my Trip i told service advisor for coolant replace (Btw my odo was at 29500k at that time)and he himself suggested cleaning of radiator housing and all.
Mostly a Poor service is the reason for all this heating and coolant issue.

Had my bike's second service done at Garve Bajaj, Wakad. The guys there are much better than the Shivajinagar SVC.

Guys, seems like I made a mistake. Last night I noticed that the coolant level in my bike was low so I bought a pack of Valvoline Coolant today for top up. I hardly poured in 100ml and now the coolant level is above MAX and the windows fills completely when standing straight. What should I do now, am worried.

Nothing to worry about. It happens in a new bike. The air trapped inside a radiator takes the coolant from the reservoir and hence it tends to go low.

And for the overfilling. Nothing to worry about. If it is excessive it will drain through the overflow pipe.

Oh okay, so I don't need to visit service centre right?
