    One question
They poured extra coolent. I can see that coolent is above max line even in the morning.
When I told them to reduce it manager said no need to remove coolent coz extra coolent will be drained out through drain pipe.
    Is that true ??
I'm worried the due to extra coolent it may breake the oil seal causing the oil and coolent mixing.

Other things are open to legal interpretation, but this is broadly how it is. Your part about warranty is correct. Its similar to what i have mentioned above.
Also, from a customer service point of view, Bajaj cannot afford any bad publicity for the Dominar considering its low sales volume. They are doing everything possible to make the new launch a success.

An "Issue"or "Defect" is caused when "Mistake" occurs at bajaj side is what my understanding was... If wrong i'll correct it.
But this would be my last comment on this as i rest my case its perceptive from each individual. I was answering its free.
Chain slider is an issue identified by customer, This issue is caused due to the defect in the product or can also be put as
Chain slider is an issue identified by customer, This was the design mistake from Bajaj side.

      Hello.

2019 Yamaha MT15 engine specs and dimensions of the India-spec variant has been leaked by an official govt document. It confirms more power and ABS.

This link from Rushlane also provides the info stating engine is DOHC now. I feel this was a much required change.
I think Bajaj is now eliminating all the negatives from the bike. If this is true then sure its a jackpot for the 2019 Domi owners.

        Done with 2nd servicing

I stayed whole day in the SC. I did not leave my bike alone with them even for 5 min

I told them to replace the oil. Manager wasn't ready. He was insisting on top-up only. After forcing I agreed to change the oil.
Old oil which came out of bike was too black and dirty. I could feel the soil and metal particles rubbing my finger in the oil and it was not at all thick. So I guess Changing the oil was a right decision.
And yeah they did not knew about the 3rd magnetic filter. I forced them to open it so 3 mechanics were searching for it with mobile torch. I had to tell them to remove the cowl then they found it

Again they couldn't solve the rear brake problem. Manager and I tried 3 different dominars to see the braking difference between mine and others and it was totally noticable. Still manager said we just sanded the pads give it time it will adjust. (I know that won't work)

Chain slider clamp and anti vibration kit was installed (first they said 250 service charge has to paid when i told them that many of my friends have done it and none of them paid anything then the became awkward and said we will see at the billing. They didn't charge me for it in the billing)

And my bike is 2018 model so the anti vibration kit is not only for 2017 model.
They will remove the pre-installed kit from the bike to give it back to company and will put new one.
So the owners of 2018 model head to showroom for anti vibration kit if they say no then contact Bajaj.

        Total bill was Rs 1202
Oil + oil filter + consumables charges.
When did you buy the bike in 2018? Mine is October 2018, so should I opt for it? They are just blindly changing it or they are doing any kind of inspection? Please share your feedback.

        Thanks in advance.

I bought my bike in August 2018.

They are not doing any inspection.
They will remove the pre-installed anti vibration kit (it's just 4 rubber paddings sticked inside) to replace it with new kit. It's has 5-6 rubbers and round shaped rubber rings and other things. They did not show me the whole kit. I just saw them opening the bag.

Where are you facing any vibration issues? and this kit is only for the tank or there is something from the rear section of the bike. I hear a lot of noise from the rear section of the bike.

            Did you face similar issues?

              It's for tank only.
Tighten the bolts from rear area if the noise is still there then it could be the toolbox making the noise under the seat.

And I'm yet to test the tank vibration at higher RPM. I usually ride around 4k to 4.5k rpm so I never faced the tank vibration issue even before the kit.

Thanks, I will check once I go for the 2nd service of the bike.

I will also check whether they are removing the 3rd - magnetic filter. I wasn't there when the 1st service was done.

                Thanks for responding.

I did the same mistake in 1st servicing. I left my bike there. And I wasn't satisfied at all with 1st servicing.
But now after proper oil change bike is hella smooth. If ridden Under 5k RPM It's as smooth as FZ15 now.

Everything which is there in the v kit is already present on 2018 made bikes , and the kit includes fuel tank mounts and bolts, new rubbers for plastic tank and new bolts and new mounting rubbers for rider seat.
Still if want to get it go ahead there won't be a difference coz everything is already there on you bike.

If there is some breathing space still there in the expansion tank than leave it as it is, if it is till the very top of the expansion tanks than u should get some removed or else it will come out of drain pipe or could leak from the cap. Little above max mark is ok.

Great, it's nice to hear. I have clocked 3.7K KMs and will wait for the 2nd service and get all things done. I have already installed chain slider clamp. I was there in the showroom to adjust the rear suspension to medium soft. After adjusting the rear suspension, there is a lot of change in comfort level.

Thanks once again for all the information.

Just loosen it, do not remove as removing involves taking out the exhaust pipe.. If you loosen it sufficiently, oil will flow out...
