Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
The number plate can easily hold right below the headlamp assembly with changing the screws to a bit longer ones, also if you can get someone weild the lower part of numberplate holder all four screws can get fit easily, havent got time for it so its on two front bolts below headlamps and no issue faced so far of my one years nearly ownership.Sharing the image of difference of screw length you will need.Paid 10/- for two screws.Originally posted by J_ARTLY View PostPlease share the fitment of front number plate. It looks good positioned there.
Firstly this is not an offroad bike like himalayan or impulse and secondly i have ridden on many bad roads, no roads, hills offroads as well havent even once seen the front fender touch the nameplate or any issues there. My friend did his ladakh trip with nameplate fitted that ways without any issues faced which is why i got sure to make it git there rather then ordering another holder and fit in on windshield. This looks pretty cool as well.Originally posted by Vinayak110 View PostIt will hit the front mud guard in offroads.Last edited by Vijay Thacker; 06-16-2020, 01:32 PM.

Owners, whosoever is looking to get the bike serviced be it your free ones or paid ones do make sure to change the oil changed in that even if you think its not needed. With this lockdown and most of our bikes were parked at the parking area, its more advisable to get that changed and then start using it which is benifited for our engine.ITS

Which tyre you install?Originally posted by Vijay Thacker View PostHello guys,
I dont know what many owners of dominar have expectations from their bikes but I love what i have purchased and it truely justifies the price i paid for power, cruiser bike that is given to us which can be enjoyed on long rides, power which is sufficient to travel across country and not so expensive maintenance.
With the opening of lockdown had been getting calls for my second service which was due in march.
Nothing much to look at apart from changed the oils, regular checkups and cleaning of error codes if any.Washed and cleaned with lubing of chain and everything went smoothly and bike was handed me back within an hour and half.
Few pictures after the service.

I have gone for Ralco Speedblasters and they are brilliant as what i needed.Originally posted by Dibyenduu View PostWhich tyre you install?
Changed the tyre size a bit as 150 section was not needed nor i drive on tracks for cornering.Cheaper to own, brilliant rubbers for our pathetic roads, better handling.

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Hello everyone,
My Dominar has just completed 6 months but has only run about 2700 kms due to the lockdown. Any idea if there are any service interval extensions by Bajaj as I would very much like to keep warranty intact. I was wondering if its worth the risk to get it serviced. FYI - I live in Mumbai where COVID cases are still high with no signs of decreasing anytime soon.
Thanks.

You can call Bajaj customer care and let them know your current situation. In some cases, they make sure you are called from your nearest SVC for a service pickup from home. Also, I'd recommend you to call up the service center/showroom you purchased the vehicle from, and get it clarified so that they help you with the delayed service schedule.Originally posted by Th3DarkKnight View PostHello everyone,

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
THE END

But as per the manual, 2nd service time period is 240 days, so why are you worrying about it at just 6 months?
I did get a call from my Bajaj SVC in early May, telling me that they have extended the servicing time period by 1 month due to the lockdown. It didn't matter to me because my 2nd service is after 240 days i.e. around 25 August.
My condition is quite opposite, I wish to get the engine oil replaced now (at my own cost) but the mechanics politely convince me to go home, saying it's unnecessary.Last edited by arya809; 06-26-2020, 02:35 AM.
