I tried, but unfortunately they cannot provide a bike for test ride with speedo sensor plugged in. told them about what i need to know and they still denied it.
second thing is, this bike is rarely in stock because demand is low so they mostly deliver on pre-bookings. i didn't know anyone irl who owns abs version of this bike so only option left was to ask here. anyway i have placed an order for ECU and ABS Modulator today i hope it won't be a waste.

Fork oil changed on both front shocks. It costs ₹1228. Some betterment. But, the wobble is there. If you leave hands at above 60kmph handles are wobbling. Though, the wobble is less. They are saying front tyre has already worn out due to fork oil loss and that may cause wobble. Only solution as per Yamaha service is new front tyre.

I tried a bunch of places in Bangalore. Right now have good experience with HP on old airport road. After someone here recommended it.

        ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

I was doing a bunch of scheduled servicing and came across an interesting problem. (Will post detailed notes of the work done, later)
I removed the swing arm for the first time to grease the bearings at 30,000km.

I noticed the part of the swing arm that houses the bearings had distorted while welding. It's slightly bent where the bearings seat. The two bearings don't align in a straight line. The shaft and bearings had wear from this. Otherwise no rust or other issues people usually complain about. It's a clear defect in my opinion. But besides a not very free running shaft, I don't face any handling issues.

Another issue was fine weld spatter on the swing arm near where the thrust seal sits. This chewed up the seal on one side. This side bearing had more dirt in it because the seal wasn't working.

I have a hunch that some people have trouble with the swing arm bearings failing or rusting because the SC does pressure washing and that's what forces water in. I have ridden in flooded areas and heavy rains often. But no issues.

I don't see a fix for the bend besides replacing the swing arm and bearings and seals. I work on it myself so not sure about the warranty. For now leaving it alone.
But a possible reason why for some the bike pulls to one side. Mine is a 2017 model. Happy with it as it serves my daily running around well.

I am thinking of changing the side mirrors. It seems good feedbacks on Pulsar 135 mirrors. Anyone here using Pulsar 135 mirrors on FZ25? Will the mirror protrude outwards more than stock mirror. Also, Hero and Dominar mirrors are also chosen by few.

What about bar end weights from Apache RTR or Duke motorcycles? Will that be helpful in reducing vibrations?

Use pulsar 220 bar end weights they are good, pulsar 135 mirrors are good .

No idea about mirrors, but stay away from Apache or any other heavy bar-end weights. they reduce vibrations below 3k rpm, but above 3k rpm vibrations increase significantly.

If you want to decrease vibrations, change the hadlebar to mt15's , it has weights inside the tube with rubbers. i'm currently using it, there are no vibrations from idle to almost 6500rpm now. but the downside is, it makes riding posture aggressive. to avoid that you will need to use hadlebar raisers.

Another alternative might be rtr1604v's handle. it has same type of weights inside the tube.

May I know how much the MT15s handlebar costed you?

I also changed both handgrips to mt15's, because it's softer than fz25's. you will need to drill 3 new holes to fit fz25's switchgear. these are the parts i have changed-

                      1. B9D–F6111–00 HANDLEBAR 1pcs 332rs
                      2. 1CK–F6240–00 GRIP ASSY 1pcs 43rs (not necessary )
                      3. 20P–F6241–00 GRIP 1pcs 30rs (not necessary )
                      4. 20P–F6246–00 END, GRIP 2pcs 60rs

They have put a recall url where you can check and register: https://www.yamaha-motor-india.com/service-recall.html
I called and they said it's about some of the FZ25 with the said chassis no range has some outer screw needs to be tightened.

Got mine in March 2019, it's one of the affected ones. Thanks for the link bro

Ok, so recently i did some experiments on my bike. because the bike was making a distinct tak-tak noise when decelerated. since it was only happening during deceleration, i thought maybe valve clearance is too high, so i checked it again it was 0.07/0.1mm for intake and exhaust respectively. i increased both clearances to 0.08/0.11mm, and noise disappeared. that gave me a little heart attack because i thought probably the noise was coming from valve hitting the piston or something, otherwise increasing the gap wouldn't reduce noise. so i did some digging and played around with different valve clearances. and found something interesting -

                            1. that noise during deceleration was coming from intake valve. and strangely it only comes if gap is anywhere between 0.065mm to 0.075mm. anything above or below that range doesn't produce that noise.

                            2. valve clearances on this bike actually increase as engine gets hot instead of decreasing. because engine head is made of aluminum. which expands with heat more than cast iron or steel.

about point 2. now we all know that when engine gets hot, valve stem/length increases, so to avoid valve not getting seated properly we leave some clearance there so even when valve length is increased, valve properly seats and maintains compression. but this isn't the case here, valve clearance is there because it let's the valve transfer its heat to the head. more the gap - more time to transfer heat and cool-down but at a increased tak-tak noise. ( more on this here - link)

next week i'll try using 0.05/0.08mm clearances for intake/ exhaust respectively which are minimum spec according to Yamaha. i'm hoping it will reduce the tak-tak noise much more.

(Note- this isn't about coin ringing noise that comes around 5-6k rpm, that thing is different and comes from balancer mechanism, we can't do anything about it)

Yes, Mine is affected which was bought in the month of May 2019. Maybe my FZ25 was manufactured in the month of march or April.

Yamaha did a recall for FZ25/Fazer25 manufactured between November 2017 and in January 2018. The same fault cropped again?

Gasket, O-ring and Plate breather bolts (2 no.s) must be replaced for the recall. Insist on replacing these items. I'm going to do that only.

                                This is the work done:
