Re: 2017 Duke 390 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hello Brothers - I understand that wheel base of the current Duke 390 has been shortened as compared the previous model. I am 6"2 and weighs about 80 Kgs, will the bike look too puny or will I be able to adjust to the bike ergonomics?
I am currently in Pune for some office work and today I had called Bund Garden KTM for a test drive to which they said that currently, test rides are not available for Duke 390 and they had no idea when it will be available. Could anyone let me a showroom in Pune where I can get a test drive. Thanks!

Re: 2017 Duke 390 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hi Friends,
Currently I own TVS APACHE RTR 180, been six years I am riding it... Mostly city ride... Sending Apache to my brother and planning to upgrade...
Test drive completed for both Dominar and Duke 390... Fully confused... My requirements are mostly city ride... Rarely I'll go for trips...
Both the bikes I felt they are great VFM... My budget was around 2Lakh... I can stretch a bit...
Duke 390 has felt awesome while riding except the heat (I didn't wear shoes that time) and Fan noise which I can hear it inside my helmet as well..
Dominar was more relaxed except I felt the bike bit heavy... Suspension was stiff...
I'm 31 years old...
Please suggest me friends...

Re: 2017 Duke 390 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Imo look for d250, it's the perfect bike for city and has that eye catching looks and better fe than dominar. Though I have a soft corner for bajaj I never found that attractive, it is the perfect bike in terms of features and price but the looks are very dull and weights 20kgs over the d250/390.Originally posted by Selvakumar View PostHi Friends,

Else if you can wait then also consider tvs akula310. Right now d250 will be best if you can't stretch the budget for 390.

Yes d390 wasn't available @bund garden showroom last week. So went to wakdewadi showroom and got test ride. Bike is crazy fast, and really got me scared but I enjoyed a lot. But just riding 10 mins my hands started paining.Originally posted by drive_angry View PostHello Brothers - I understand that wheel base of the current Duke 390 has been shortened as compared the previous model. If duke 250 is an option check out FZ25 too. IMO would rate FZ higher for city usage compared to Dukes.Originally posted by Selvakumar View PostThank you very much bro... Thank you... I didn't like FZ25... I don't know why... Duke 250 is not an serious option for me... I wanted my future bike should have ABS...Originally posted by vinodpakath View PostIf duke 250 is an option check out FZ25 too. IMO would rate FZ higher for city usage compared to Dukes.

Just made the full payment, and selected the bike from the lot. Luckily they had one July manufactured bike.Rest all were June.
Taking delivery on 24th..
PS: The way the showroom guys, rev(redline) and ride brand new bikes is scary to say the least, hope my beast gets a fair treatment! If u can't explain it to a six year old; You don't understand it yourself!!

There is some void in the market now for the category most of us are awaiting. A good 250 CC with ABS. Somehow no manufacturer currently understands this and launches the bike without ABS - Yamaha Fazer25 in today's case. I was also waiting for the same and ended up booking a Duke 390 last week. I currently do not see any options except Duke 390 and Benneli 302R now. I know Honda CBR 250 is gearing up for launch again with new stickers during festive time. So the same 6 year old bike with new stickers. TVS Akula is also awaited. So you might have to wait for these two if you really wish to see ABS in your next bike.

I'm agree with you completely... There is void in that 250 cc segment... Disappointed with Honda on the Same old Gen CBR with different aesthetic changes. TVS taking too much time on testing.Originally posted by vinodpakath View PostThere is some void in the market now for the category most of us are awaiting. A good 250 CC with ABS. Delivery is on this Thursday, August 24. Super Excited for that
I would suggest you test ride both and check whatever suits your riding style.

All the very best for your new machine... [emoji106]🏽Originally posted by vinodpakath View PostDelivery is on this Thursday, August 24. Super Excited for that

Ride safe...
Already done that... As far as the ride and look I liked Duke 390 and Value for money with less engine heat I liked Dominar...
Let's see... I am planning to create a pros and cons of both the bikes and based on my requirement I'll decide...
Once again thank you...[emoji106]🏽[emoji4]
