    Please observe it for a week or two, if it does not go down much, then all is well. Otherwise there is definitely Coolant mixing problem.

      Of course i will. Thats why I was trying to check it.

      Engine oil colour is bright red/maroonish after some 1500 kms after first service. It looks ok.

            They have already started delivering the 2019 bike since 1 month back (at-least in all metro cities, old model is not available here in Bangalore), quoted posted above from the forum on person has already taken delivery from the same new 2019 batch 1 month back. It has the new grab rails, apart from that not much changes in 2019 model, apart from few new vibration dampers, heat shield and new software for the TFT.

              Hey i too noticed this. My bike has done 12k km. it wás after i updated from av42 to 5v42. I thought it was this update that mightve screwed this up.
              my display also went blank once while riding, happened first time ever.\
              Also the automatic throttling at idle has become a little vigorous after update.

              I noticed the engine oil warning light coming on for hardly a sec a few times once. After this ive never experienced. My coolant was at below min levels ( but that was because i did a coolant flush and filled with just 1l of motocool) after this incident ive topped it up and haven't experienced the oil warning light yet. i'll keep a note on coolant level.

                So post second service this seems to have gone, haven't experienced this thing for the last 2 days of riding. Also one quick question, my software is still on av42, is there any noticeable difference between the 2 (av and 5v) except for the new bugs?

                    That's the original KTM powerpart visor, expensive, Made in Italy.

                      Hello guys...I have a friend who bought a second hand duke 2018 model which has done around 9000 kms. While revving in neutral bike is producing white smoke on higher revs sometimes at cold start but after a while when engine reaches an optimum temperature there is no smoke coming...is this a problem?
                      Need advice on this...

                        Don't take it otherwise, but who in their right mind would rev high a cold engine in neutral.. [emoji2357] It is extremely bad for the engine and would for sure mess something up.

                          This is normal, all that smoke is because of condensation burning due to heat from the exhaust. If the smoke is usually thin white smoke which has no smell to it, also the smoke should dissipate very quickly in the atmosphere like thin air.

                          If the smoke is thick bluish color or thick white colour and smells heavily of oil/petrol then it has do with other issue.

                            Yes...i understand that as a responsible rider but can't make them understand...afterall some guys purchase ktm just because of sound right!

                              Hey guys.. anyone using Michelin Pilot Street Radials here?? I switched over to them after the Metzelers gave up @ abou 13.5K.. seem to be getting some weird tyre roll noise...has anyone been experiencing the same?? Need help.. ots quite annoying.. checked everything at KTM service but everything else seems to be perfect..so i guess it must be the tyres..

                                Yes, I have them, they are definitely noisier than metz.. It's pretty annoying too, but I think they little harder than metz, so u get more life out of it. I started using ear plugs to reduce the irritation.
