Re: 2017 Duke 250
It is possible to stall the engine with the release of the clutch as in any vehicle, due to clutch setting or the rpm at that particular instance. Poor idling means the bike can't move itself with the release of the clutch as the bike moves forward with the clutch released during idle rpm. If you feel a flat spot, like there is no response even when opening the throttle, and then the bike accelerates, I'd suggest you check your fuel quality and try fueling from a different station. If after, you still feel there is an issue with your throttling, I'd suggest you check your fuel pump pressure checked.Originally posted by snoufaltariq View Post@B7ACKTHORN The initial pull is so low it some times stalls. Is there any solution for that. I don't know how it feels for others. But releasing the clutch without throttle is a sure stall. Please help me with the situation
Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Re: 2017 Duke 250
Other bikes do deliver power better at lower rpm's. The first time riding this bike, I needed at least 7 or 10 attempts to get going. The bike still stalls at times. It just takes some time getting used to this.Originally posted by snoufaltariq View PostHow's your machine??.Have ridden duke a 200 or 390 before. If you have then can you correlate my issue?.I feel the initial pull is so low at the bite point

Re: 2017 Duke 250
I am the proud owner of my 2nd KTM which is duke 250, by the way my first KTM is still my first love which is RC 200,however I am kinda disappointed with Duke 250.
1. There is small annoying noise from silencer.
2. Misfires from exhaust.
DO NOT QUOTE the entire picture set. Remove the entire chunk before quoting, heneforth.Last edited by B7ACKTHORN; 10-14-2017, 10:02 PM.

Re: 2017 Duke 250
Mild misfiring is absolutely normal. Check your exhaust heat shield screws for proper tightness and what not, and also the exhaust pipe bands that connect the pipe to the muffler.Originally posted by mustafiz744 View PostI am the proud owner of my 2nd KTM which is duke 250, by the way my first KTM is still my first love which is RC 200,however I am kinda disappointed with Duke 250.

2017 Duke 250
For daily commuting to the office fz25 is good option, as have good mileage in between 35-40 kmpl in the city limits, on road price of the fz25 is less , Good torque, maintenance cost is less compared to D250...Yamaha service network which you can find easily in small towns of india.Originally posted by presidency View PostAm planning to purchase a bike for daily commuting to office. Is D250 good for this purpose or the fz25? Is duke gonna give frequent issues like old duke models?
Both are good bikes, rest hear your heart and buy the bike of your choice..Last edited by Parshu; 10-24-2017, 06:10 PM.
