Hello guys just want to know what is the amount of engine oil you guys filling in your bike ?
Manual says 1200ml but as for 1200ml i will need to buy two bottles of any engine oil where 800ml will be left unused. Also havent seen any 160cc segment bike that uses 1.2litre else its 1litre only.
    TIA

Even apache rtr 160 4v needs 1.2 litres of oil. Its only for the first time you need to buy 2 bottles of 1 litre. For the next 4 times, it is enough to buy only one bottle and you can fill in 200ml from 800ml left in the previous bottle(200ml × 4 times)

Riding under 3500 rpm is utter BS. Shift at 5k RPM. 3.5k is too low.

Have u guys thought of changing rear sprocket to bigger one(more teeth one)?...
Me feel bike is little lacking in intial pick up
And also does u r bikes engine sound changed after few thousand kilometers?...
Me thought was timing chain r tapet issue and taken to service and they said its normal.....

You can vary the speed between 60-80-100 (keeping the road conditions in mind) for optimum mileage.
Tyre pressure can be as company recommended only.
Get your chain cleaned and lubed and lube it whenever necessary.
Keep a puncture repair kit handy, just in case and learn how to patch a puncture.
Always fill up from reputed petrol bunks, try finding a COCO bunk if you can.
Don't go too hard on the curves, take it easy. Don't go all out on highways, keep a watch on cattle and pedestrian crossing.
And most importantly, keep your body cool, hydrated and active while riding. Avoid riding in night. Happy touring!

I cannot stress how important both these points are as I recently completed 24000 kms.
Well I am going for a tyre change, does anyone have some good suggestions?

You could look at the MRF Masseter 120/80-17 MSX-MCT or go for Ceat Zoom or Apollo depending upon your budget. Don't go for hard compound tyres (Stock Zappers).

Hey everyone hope you guys are doing fine
It's been a month I bought the Pulsar NS 160
Loving the beautiful sharp edges of it's body, the aggressive nature of the engine and how it sounds[emoji7]

However I am experiencing an issue with my motorcycle. When the engine heats up after riding let's say 10kms the tappet starts to be klinky and noisy.
I just had 1st service yesterday and asked about the issue and they said it's normal. But I don't think tappet should make noise so soon that too in a new vehicle. Any views regarding this?Click image for larger version
