It could be timing chain, but can u provide more details like in which gear it happens,or at which rpm. Although carburator always have a response lag if u blip the throttle suddenly that's why FI is accommodated in higher segment bikes. If u blip throttle suddenly in high gear and low rpm it will make a strange sound. And if u can't figure it out than contect service center.

It's not exactly about which gear and rpm .. but I used to rev match in order to downshift gears.. I notice this sound while I try to rev.. not only while rev matching .. even during idle rpm .. when the rpm lowers down after revving it.. it occurs simultaneously while lowering it.. do u get it ??

It might become a big issue in future. But I suggest u to check few things urself first and than take it to crevice center.
Check for oil leakage around the tensioner and head, check ur engine oil, check ur exhaust pipe doesn't have any small hole in pipe (I had one on my previous bike and it took me 2weeks to understand the cause of strange noices)

It is possible my friend [emoji7] .
                    I am regularly getting 54 - 55 kmpl.
I ride it very decently, no sudden accelerations, smooth increase in speed upto 60. Stop at signals. And I have performed the running in 100% correctly.

That's cool.. but I could not control the adrenaline rush... I rode under economic conditions upto 1000kms .. after which I could not..

But when you blip the throttle, it revs accordingly and is followed by a strange sound.. I m not sure of what it is.. I think it's the timing chain or tappet noise .. but how come a new vehicle can come across this issue very soon ??
I hope this is the problem i was mentioning about. And today i have got a new problem. A strange (soft) grinding noise is heard at times. I dont know what the hell is happening.. Decided to change the oil tomorrow morning.

Which is the best oil for Pulsars ?? Actually until the free service gets completed, the SVC guys obviously will use Dts-i oil .. but I am not comfortable with that engine oil .. what's the best alternative?? And what's the engine oil rating we are using currently ??

                              Oil leakage - no
                              Engine oil problem - maybe
Hole in exhaust pipe - no chance

Exactly .. I think it's due to engine oil..
