          Vibs are like any single pot, noting deal breaker. May be the bike u have ridden was in worse condition and generalizing with that conclusion is meaning less.
          Every bike excels in different area and have different audience. As a RR owner, atleast iam happy that oil and coolant dont mix. Done 6000kms, still the coolant level is intact.
          And nowdays people dont buy faired bike just like that, faired bike has advantage over naked, suggest you to learn the basics of faired bike first before making abusive comments first.

            Here my view.

            RR310 definitely vibrates more than Dominar and I feel bad for you for having a bad experience with a very good motorcycle. Your friend's RR310 is brand new so let it gain some kilometres and let it get its oil changed and let it get a servicing session, I am sure that you will love the bike a bit more than you do now.

            Now coming to Dominar vs RR310. Its all about preference. Dominar has better initial power delivery. Dominar can definitely go faster than RR310 but RR310 can go to a higher top speed and that's the reason why at the end of every long drag race, RR310 wins. Part of the reason is aero dynamic fairing and part of the reason is its higher rpm range.

            Now coming to the build quality, sorry to say but RR310 definitely feels more premium than the Dominar. Dominar is not a bad built bike. There's a reason why Dominar is said as the best built bike that bajaj has ever made.

            About comfort and looks. Both are really good looking motorcycle. RR310 looks like a supersport bike, like a panigale while Dominar looks like a mini Diavel . Both are Ducatis though.

            Now Dominar is also cheaper to maintain and cheaper to buy but the reason why it's cheaper is something that you can feel in current generation dominar.

            About Vibrations: I am sure that shifting from semi synthetic Motul 5100 to fully synthetic motul 7100 will definitely decrease alot of vibrations in RR310. No idea why anyone haven't tried it yet. Dominar has fully synthetic engine oil.

            So if you want
            A superbike feel with both committed yet comfortable seating position
            A superbike looks
            A premium build bike (not saying Dominar's build quality is bad but RR310's better)
            A high revving engine (If you dont like Dominar's very early rev limiter)
            A comfortable bike at higher top speed (that big visor)
            And a very efficient bike.. (mileage is amazing on RR310)
            RR310 is the one. But you do pay more and compromise on vibrations.

            But if you want
            A cheaper bike which is cheaper to maintain.
            A bike which has killing torque feel!
            A naked bike with same big bike feeling.
            A bike which has the best availability of spare parts
            A bike which has service centres even in most unexpected locations
            A bike which has amazing touring capability and very good options to make the bike best suit for you.
            A bike which has a very good seating position on which you can cover kilometres without any problem.

            Dominar is the one. But I do personally feel Dominar has a tad less build quality than RR310 and wear and tear of a bajaj bike is more. Not sure about RR310 so I wont compare.

            Both the bikes are a amazing. It all ends up to the personal preference.

              Rejoice, o reader brothers and sisters, the showroom did deliver my motorcycle yesterday(24 Nov) - though a bit late. They were taking a bit of time , I got impatient and asked for the screws and a screwdriver so that I can fix the numberplates myself. They calmed me down and did it in the next 15. Then came setting date and time, the extremely helpful manager of Bharath TVS went to 2019 while setting it, so we had to press the hard button 99 more times to get back to 2018. I wish him speedy recovery.

              Initially it felt like a very controllable ship, through heavy Bangalore traffic. I am not used to having a bow of a boat attached in front of my steering. Both my previous motorcycles were nakeds. Very nice behavior on bad roads though, I am surprised. Took to my friends place to show off. I clicked him astride on it.

              On this morning's ride things started to fall into pieces, gone were the unfamiliar feeling, I am slowly getting into groove and enjoying it more. There are some minute vibrations, but one requires asparagus sticks in place of hands to complain about it. Loverly pickup. I came home and parked it all the while smiling in my helmet, what a beast!

              Then a feeling of emptiness hit me. There was this wonderful street dog that everyone in our building loved. He was playful, intelligent, and always looking for an opportunity to sneak through the gates and make way to the terrace, where a fellow tenant will give him a nice hot meal, cooked specially for him. All of us loved petting him, and he had this calming smile..

              Sometimes he used to mark his territory on our two wheeler tyres, but we didn't mind. No point of robbing him off all his wonderful dogginess. However he is missing since this Diwali. He was afraid of loud fireworks. he ran away and didn't return since. My ownership seems incomplete without his liquid blessings.

                Hey guys. Just decided to go for the 310. But need your suggestions. Since it's almost November, should I wait for the next year's production model (showroom guys say to book after Feb 25th for next year's build) or is it not a big difference to book the bike now so I can get it in Jan?

                  Ha ha, had me laughing there, wishing him speedy recovery for his fingers indeed!

                  Congrats on the bike, hope this is the MY19 bike and they have fixed all vibration and chain tuk tuk sound issues with new parts.

                    Manufacturing date will matter only when u sell , otherwise it has nothing to do with the ownership. On paper it wil be written 2018 thats all.

                      One more query. When we start FI bikes. There's a self check of fuel pump. That sound smooth on all bike and cars. In RR it sounds like a short circuiting. Like a trrr trrr. Is this normal? Or should i get it checked?

                        This is 'experience' update on day 5 of ownership.

                        During my 4.5 km office travel I get a window of exactly 10 seconds to put the motorcycle in 4th gear. Most of the time is spent in 2nd gear, a smattering of third.

                        The time spent in 4th is quite nerve wrecking as the windscreen of the car or the ironworks behind a truck gets uncomfortably closer by the millisecond. This motorcycle is a beast and really likes to stretch it's legs long.

                        It hasn't seen a highway yet, that'll change in some hours. Till now the fuel economy is 22 kmpl. That is incredible. One of the most dreaded crossings of Bangalore lays in my way, it is called Silk board crossings. Those who traverse it sweat in their office seats thinking they'll have to face it again on the way back. There's a 3 quarter of a kilometer long section that takes about 15-40 minutes, 5-10 stops to cross. One must not forget the looming huge medical bill for lung diseases in the near future.

                        You may be curious how do I stand silk board. I can not. I generally take a cycle to office and go by the side roads. This is a new motorcycle so my inner 8 year old wanted to show off.

                        In this traffic I find the clutch pull a bit tedious. I could really do with some clutch assist. i went back to Bharath automobiles, The 310 specialist there (It made me feel so special, a specialist for my vehicle- wow!) told me slipper clutch is in the works and once released, I can have it installed. Problem solved in uncertain future. Nice!

                          Yes, slipper clutch is under work and many new updates. The newest one will be even happied RR310. That's all I can say.

                              There is no specific light for low oil, instead the warning light will glow, but iam not sure whether any text will appear on the screen ( for side stand it appear). Since no one faced low oil issue so far we dont know the exactly how it will be displayed, but for sure the warning light will glow.

                              But i would strongly suggest you to take your bike ito highways rather than city for good engine break-in. Avoid city ride ( medium traffic is fine) as much as possible till break-in period
