While leaving one of my friend in showroom told me that New V3 has some quality issue and rusting problem. Like tank pannel coming off and some parts are get rusting.
Now am so confuse because am investing this much of money and if here is no build quality its worthless.

NOW AM CONFUSE THAT SHOULD I BUY R15 S OVER V3? IS THAT A GOOD CHOICE? IS YAMAHA MAINTAINING THEIR QUALITY?
I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO, SO CONFUSED. PLEASE GIVE AN ADVICE.
Yes, the waiting period is around 90 days here in TN. I've seen a lot of videos about the tank panel coming off but there is no problem yet in my bike. Also take into consideration that my daily commute is 25km within the city with a pillion and we together weigh about 170kgs.

On the rust part, there is no sign of it till now. I have clocked about 1100 on the odo in 2months.

The bike may be a notch below the r15s on build quality but has a much improved engine with power all over the rev range .

Not facing any issues bro. I have posted my tank pics in previous comments and tried to pull them off they are not coming off at all. Rusting on which part your taking about? There are mild vibration at right foot peg can be ignored. You can test all those stuff in showroom it self by asking seller.

I tried pulling tank panels but didn't come off. Never had rusting issues. Bike is fun to ride and you can enjoy super sports handling. You can go for v3 without doubts.

Is there any way to reduce the vibrations on the footpegs?

change the footpegs to FZ25's, those are covered by rubber which should reduce some amount of vibrations.

Rear tyre locks often even with slight hard press, this bike seriously needs abs

If you are locking your rear tire often, it means that you are not braking properly. If you have upgraded from a commuter bike to the V3, there is a very high chance that you are using improper braking techniques.

Ideally you should use 70% front and 30% rear. Reduce the amount of front brake and increase the amount of rear braking if the road conditions are not ideal.
So if you have to brake and there is sand or gravel or other loose material on road or its raining, use 50% front and 50% rear.
If there is snow, ice or black ice on road, forget the front and use only rear and that too very cautiously.

Please visit braking thread to learn about proper braking techniques and practice them in your day today riding to improve your skills.

I own pulsar 220 and ridden lot of non abs bikes even some higher cc bikes but this was not the case , anyhow will try to be cautious.

                      UPDATE

                      - Rear tyre skids a lot during breaking, so it does feel like it need ABS. The grip on this one is horrible . Maybe this was an intentional defect to make us go for the premium metzeller tyres. One walk around i found for this problem would be to increase the rear tyre breaking compared to the front brake ( i.e. make sure rear break is slower than the front brake. When a bike skids, the front brake has already stopped rear tyre keep rotating so accomplishing the oppsite by harder breaking with rear tire, engine breaking and pulse braking on the front tyre should help )

-Engine does not sound refined over 4k rpm

-Electronic problem would mainly include the electric start not working on the first press. this problem was automatically solved after a miracle.
                      now i have 3 trip meters. ( odo , trip 1 , trip 2 , trip f )

How many kms have you covered ?

If not much then give some time for brake pads to settle in. It’s also possible that bite of rear brake is sharper than expected. Use brakes in 70:30 proportion.

Regarding trip meters, in all yamaha bike which have digital instrument cluster, there is one odo meter, two trip meters and one reserve fuel meter which activates when you hit reserve.

The stock tyres are not that great. They put a zapper tyre for V3 while V2 had radial ones. They put a commuter tyre on a sports bike
Swap for massettter or michelin pilot street. U will have more confidence while riding.
