its summer on its top guys
hear in new delhi ever day the temp cross 40+
i have to ride bike for 20 km or for 1 hour in this hot noon 1 to 2pm
sun is always on head and sucking my energy may be of bike also
the air is so hot that you cant go with a helmet which has no visor otherwise you will burn your face ,the tank scoops are in this season is failing to to their work i think they are making engine more hot by passing the hot air to it
the tarmac is so hot you cant go with naked legs on them ,tire stick like glue on them the tyre preasur increase by this hotness
i always do hurry and take bike to 7k to 8k rpm to reach home early so that i can cheat the sun
but my bike gets over heat the accleration decreases
please guys give me some summer tips to maintain my bike health
is there any engoil which cool engine or what grade is best for summer..................................................

Okay guys i am very worried...
this may sound like paranoia but today while cleaning the bike i found it had around 3 black spots in the tank..my RTR 180 is white in color and these minute black spots are looking like insect droppings but when i tried cleaning them i found that the paint was gone.....
has anyone else faced this??? i just bought the bike on 9th june this month and now this is happening...

Got my one way clutch and the TCI changed under warranty. The mechanic (from another service center, not from the place where i generally get my bike serviced) who serviced my bike asked me to do it because there were some weird gunshot like sounds coming at times when the engine was switching off. He said its a common problem in most 180sLast edited by theguitarfreak; 06-26-2010, 03:59 PM.You can only ride better tomorrow if you ride safe today.

I have faced this issue in my Black Pulsar 180. In my case, the black spots were due to the 'Mango True Glue' like substance. As my bike stands under the shade of Mango tree at my home so the black glue like substance was spread all over the tank. Though they are not visible in my case. And I have not managed to screep them off.Originally posted by pankajsingh5k View PostOkay guys i am very worried...

Like what i assessed the 'real' culprit for the problem.Originally posted by theguitarfreak View PostGot my one way clutch and the TCI changed under warranty. @mozn
Probably your bike's cone set needs tightening.

I didnt expect even myself to be a victim of this thing. But at least it has been sorted out.Originally posted by chicane1879 View PostLike what i assessed the 'real' culprit for the problem.
The handlebar vibrations are still there. It starts from 4k and stays all the way. Earlier it used to vanish after 5k. Any idea what might be the problem? I had tightened the nuts and bolts. You can only ride better tomorrow if you ride safe today.
