The build quality provided by TVS is top notch as I see it in my bike's construction which gives me a lot of confidence on my bike.
P.S. - Covered 150 kms in first two days within the city and still logging kms day by day.

Nice to see another Black RTR180 .I have a issue with the speedo/tacho switching off suddenly while riding,Even Sometimes When I put key to start ,It fails to start.But If I remove the key and try again ,it starts.There is absolutely no problem as of now with speedo/tacho.Bike Switched off while riding-Felt twice today.There is patina(copper corrosion) over the lock ,which may be the reason.needs to get cleaned in TVS Service Centre.

Another thing was the Noise I suspected for piston Ring noise at High Speeds.Yet to Confirm.Can Anyone tell me Whether you People Hear Tick Tick like Noise When Ripped to Speeds like 75-80kmph upwards?Another thing is On 5K rpm on 5th gear ,My Bike is at 68kmph Speed.I want a Comparo with Others.Tell Your Speed too.This is to Verify that I have not Fried the Rings/Valves of the Bike
My Mileage is 40-45kmpl(Approx calculated).

Even a little bit of water in the lock makes the key all tight and sticky. A quick spray of Wd-40 works wonders!

when does the low fuel indicator glow?

is it when the fuel hits the reserve mark or when the reserve itself is getting empty...

hehe... i tested this just today... it doesnt come on when going into reserve.... but (maybe for me) after 50kms into reserve... didnt push further, filled up right away...

When I took Delivery of the Bike ,after PDI ,they poured a half bottle of Petrol and low fuel Indicator was glowing.I believe it will glow only if the quantity is VERY low.

That's utter nonsense. Most cans of WD-40 come with a red extension tube. Just stick this tube past the flap into the hole of the lock and spray. Other key areas to spray during rains would be the kill and pass-flasher switches. All switches really.

It's hard to diagnose a 'noise' without actually hearing it. My first guess would be tappet noise. For most riders coming from other bikes, the rtr's tappet noise would be startingly distinct. But tappet noise usually grows louder as the engine gets hotter. And at high rpms the engine+exhaust noise would drown out the tappet noise. So i'm not really sure what your high rpm ticking noise is. sorry.

hello all menacers!

i have completed 1300km on my bike....from 1000km onwards i started ripping it to 6k in each gear n sometimes 7k-8k(rarely)...... i like the howling sound in 4.5-6k range..its very smooth...i touched 110kmph maximum.....one thing i observed is the smoothness of engine last only for few km's.....once the engine is hot.....tappet sound starts and as i mention the howling sound is not there...it is some what rough...u can feel it....and in that case more u rip more the engine is rough....in the sense of engine sound..(its like in music system u decrease the BASS and increase the treble)...its not smooth.....i ride daily 40km....20km and 20km(2 shihts)
But when i take out my bike next morning....its as smooth as silk at start..since it is cooled in night..n same as above further....so point is the cooling of engine is not efficient....what should i do for it.....i replaced oil by tvs tru4 at 1st service.
Talking about vibrations it starts in 4k to 5k mark then smooth in 5k to 6.5k and then again starting n then increasing.....they r experienced mostly at tacho n headlamp fairing,mirrors,rear footpegs...
Fairing vibrations r reduced since i tighten the nut bolts related to that.
Now the most important...mileage is bit varying....its 32 to 50 range....normal ripping upto 6k to 7k range....
I also had that neutral light fault.....i never rely on that.....i also experienced false shifts of gears.....sudden nuetral or change to lower....but i manage it....but this is disgusting with a new bike.

PLEASE analyze my report and advice me some changes n share ur experiences....
I love my bike....only issue is heating problem.....can i have a oil cooler on my bike....just a thought

i test rode A180 last evening at Innovative TVS - Bhandup.....the ride wasd reaaly very very short....200m of kuccha road....they didnt allow me to take it on the main (LBS) road....saying 'the traffic police dont permit us'.....so i couldnt ride it above 2nd (yes...2nd!!!)....although i pulled the revs past 5k rpm (in 2nd)....i didnt feel even the slightest of vibrations!!!!....bike felt smooth....cant comment for sure cos it was not actually a TD....i was given a black TD bike.....the on-road price quoted to me is 75,425rs.....with some accessories.....

guys please give me some info on vibratios please.....is it really bone-jarring?????

@REVZ RACING: Haha:-).. I told you tat its not a test ride in which you can form any opinions about the bike.. I also did a proper test ride at one Ashwini Motors in Airoli.. Since it was Airoli I had some pretty nice and winding roads where I actually felt the RTR's brilliant handling.. Tat ride made up my mind for me.. I am actually waiting for my House Lease Aggrement to reach me bcos without that I cannot get the Delivery of the bike.. So?? How did you feel the customer Service at Innovative was??

@karkai6.....i myself am gonna take TD @ Ashwini - Airoli.....as sson as i get time....CS feel at Innovative was good....i talked with the Service Manager / Supervisor for a while...
