      ok..
so stickin to the original 1500RPM it is.....

after buyin you measured the turns in the carb?????

cuz this guys are too dumb to tune the machine properly...

my advise is go to the companys godown find a new 180 which is still in wrappers give a guy thr 100 ka GANDHIJI tell him to bring a screw driver and measure how many turns the carbs mixture screw has after being closed completely...
you'll get the setting of the co for 180.....

      yes sir it's the same......

you get my thumbs up for the bolds....
      it surely happens thr...

finally i tried the 180 today....(i thought to log this in eve and you asked me the right time buddy.... )
i had my points in my mind how m gonna test it so i did my best to extract all the juice it's engine has....

to start with the eargasmic note of FI is missing but still it has more "deep" note as compared to the 160...

what i noticed was that the engine was very much flickable right from the 3000 RPM and was not in need of the revs like the FI do....

to make matters simple for me i took it alone for the ride for about 10kms..(the guy is my frnd who gives the test ride )

      PERFORMANCE and overall...

1.Like the RTR it revved like a dream but was not as smooth as the FI "who" revs like god.

2.The engine was getting strong from 3500 RPM and the power come till 10700 after that the torque curve gave up and beyond that it was revving un neccecarily...the bike was pulling smoothly from 2500 in 4 without a snatch and yes man it VIBRATES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
same area 5600-7000 it gave me massage but it was almost as same as the FI bit it's "intensity" felt more...(julian!!!! i told you that our FI won in this vibes department!!!!!!!!!!!!)

3.The gearbox was smooth but a bit notchy and my fav gears were 2,3 and 4...

4.I touched 136 on the straight fully croutched after about 500-800mtrs...,0-60 felt fast, tacho shoots up good but not the way FI throws the needle up but FI makes more noice so it makes the whole thing look fast than it's actuall is...

5.it felt about "2%" more planted than the FI or the RTR 160, i never felt those MM's, the swingarm gained, workin hard for it.....

6.Handling was god, brakes same as the FI,scrapped the PEG, lots of positive feel, the rear 110 and little long swingarm helping in that part..may be..

      7. The suspension setup felt stiffer sepecially the rear was not compressin' the way FI's does at the corner(2nd gear, long curve 8000-11000 RPM, as it's my fav left hander i took the 180 to the same route)
it was at the 3 setting,my FI runs on 4,still it felt much stiffer, the front is as same as the FI....

Overall a very nice bike with little more power on tap that gives it a better top END...

but on the twisties you need a hell lotta skills to beat FI, but yup on straights it has it's edge (by a little margin) cuz those 20cc's(17 to be precise) and little more PS's(1.3) will give it more lungs for that top end, but to use the little extra power, all you need is a skill cuz biking is not all about opening the accelerator at the open road but feeling the chasis at the twisties, hearing the bike screaming for the next gear, braking, cornering and after getting back to the showroom i found that i did it all in MY FI and felt nothing new to it.....

"But i can bet you guys you may be able to show me the new “V” shaped mudguard on straights but you just can’t beat me in my FI on track or twisties even if you're driving the new white coloured RTR 180...."

I have taken a test ride too. The engine pulls from any rpm like you say. (I revved it from about 3k to 12k rpm in each gear except 5th.) But there are vibrations in the 6-7k range. A bit decreased compared to the 160, but it is there!

maybe i missed them coz i was too excited on getting the test drive alone.

get into 2 gear rev it to 5700-7000 RPM (both the bikes are smooth from 7000RPM) be in that region for good 5-6 mins and you'll know what vibes are....
try the same region of RPM in FI and you'll know what i was talkin about...

no doubt the FI irons out the vibes in RTR....
remember it's ultra short stroke engine and like the detailed explaination julian gave (RTR160/FI thread) it'll vibrate...

(i love the vibes man!!!!! but it kills me after 20 kms of hammering the machine hard)

I never heard the note of the FI but after hearing the 160 note the 180 does sound like a True Beast. It makes everyone turn their head just bcoz of the exhaust note(quite a few ppl turnd their heads to see when i was revvin in neutral at the signal).
