the speed attained at a particular RPM is determined by the gear-ratios . rich-lean wont affect it .

dont get confuse in improved throttle responce and PS/BHP, richning the mixture NEVER boosts the power, it just improves the throttle responce, hence better pickup and acceleration COMPARED to the lean mixture.

It's quite simple really. The RPM to speed relation is determined by mechanical factors. That means your gear box reduction ratio in a given gear as well as your final drive ratio (the number of teeth on the chain sprockets). As long as you don't change the gearbox or more likely your sprockets, you will always do the the same speed at the same RPM. With some small error introduced by the pressure of the tires.

Guys, anybody has got any info about the front shock absorber's replacement provided by TVS. I think it was mentioned by prakash_mvpa about the replacements being made by the company to iron out the front fork noise.

bang on target ...thats wat its all about..mixture only determines the accleration...thats wat i was xpecting for an answer 2 be precise..

My bike was having front fork noise. Only after sending a mail to TVS, the SVC guys took it seriously. They changed the fork oil completely (the default level was low) but told me that they would change the whole fork assembly if that didnt help. But it did solve the problem.

Castrol Power 1 Racing is a fully synthetic and falls under the recommended grade category of the RTR. Try searching for Petronas Sprinta(fully-synth) or Veedol Super Swift(semi-synth).

                            • my bike has clocked around 1.4k and I'm facing this issue of hard gear shifts, especially while shifting from 3rd to 4th.Sometimes,the gear doesn't fall properly and it shifts back to 3rd...this is really embarrassing. Also,in the lower gears,i cant rev her much.I get this feeling that it is shifting to a lower gear by itself...what might be the problem?...the svc guys say some horrendous stories which is hard to believe...just want to know what might be the problem from you guys...
It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

First lube the linkage which is hidden in the black caps, secondly RTR requires hard taps cuz of the notchy nature.
