    Small OT :
Just bought this Bluetooth Helmet Headset from aliexpress for 27$ (now 31$) and guess what , it was delivered from Netherlands in 20days. Tested indoors, calls are crisp and clear , will check tomorrow how it performs while on the move, alongwith GPS navigation and music

Nope, pairing only happens with same headset. If I want to pair it with one, I have to buy the same set again.
Mine doesn't support Intercom as I seldom have pillion. Even on tour, my fellow bikers are in vicinity so didn't feel the need of it as of now.

But for the price offered this seems as the best bet, how is the clarity on the go .?? A review maybe :P ?

Yesterday went for a short spin.
              1) Music is clear and crisp.
2)Made and received calls while on the move (it can redial last call, by press of a button), was very clear till 90ish kmph, after that you have to slow down a little.
3)GPS voice was also loud and clear.

Will use it for some more days and will come back with more.
By the way the battery life with music on is approx 5hours and without its 8hours, which I guess is enough for a day ride. One can recharge it using USB charger, thinking of getting one on the bike.

Get the exhaust outlet valve checked.

Looks great and a VFM Helmet, Can you help me with some doubts,

Is that legit genuine LS2 helmet ?

All that music/call/GPS features are standard equipment with Helmet ?

How come this is better than a good earphone with mic and button(Rs.1500 for Senneiser) and a GPS map like Google Map in Android ? considering the fact that provided ear phones and call accept/disconnecting module look like fat !!

I went for a trip to Munnar yesterday, writing my first travelogue yeaa!!

My LS2 is now almost 5years old, Yes this one is the original one, the heaviest and came with DOT (clear coated) and with genuine warranty. I am still using the stock visor as we cant find the replacement visor anymore.

No, I just bought the Bluetooth Headset and installed on the helmet.
In ear headphones were being used by me till today but for long rides they pain a lot, plus while picking calls we have to make sure that the mic of those earphones are near the mouth, who would find the mic at 90kmph and then answer.

Brother, not a safe practice to answer calls while riding, that too at high speeds.
Please avoid for your own safety and for the safety of other road users.

                        • RTR 180: new set of different front and rear tyres

                          Hi All,

With the monsoons just around the corner, I decided it was high time to get the tyres on my RTR 180 changed (the stock tyres are a nightmare). Both front and rear are 17" rims.

It was a no brainer to go for the 120/80-17 MRF Zapper VYDE as the rear tyre. I'm confused between the MRF ZAPPER FY1 (80/90-17) and the MRF ZAPPER FY1 which happen to be the R15v2's front tyre (90/80-17). Will the latter fit onto my front rim?

Is the mismatch in front and rear tyres going to affect performance and safety?

Request you to please help me out as the grip on my current tyres is getting worse with time.

The FY seemed a bit narrow at 80mm so I got myself an FY1 about a couple weeks ago. Fits and runs perfectly.

Only possible issue is the profile is now 72mm instead of the stock 81mm so there will probably be an error in the speedo/odo readings. Yet to test that out.

That would be great. Gonna change mine at the end of this week.
