Re: TVS Apache RTR 180
Although you should have controlled the wrist till the first service. The first service should have been done by 700-800kms . Nothing to worry about thoughOriginally posted by Techtarus View PostGuys need some help...! I rode my bike above 90 with in the running-in period @930kms on ODO. Will it decrease bike performance.
Depends on you, if you feel the rear can sustain your riding style, stay with it. Or else, change it. 12k kms for TVS tyres is still new.Originally posted by vijaybhaskar.ev View PostPlanning to change Tvs remora front tyre to mrf zapper fy1(90/80-17)...My riding depending on front tyre.. I am using MRF Zapper, on both rear and front and is very happy with it.Originally posted by vijaybhaskar.ev View PostYeah... I guess remora tyres are hard compound ones.. 12k kms still tyre thread looks like new... Prateek any tyre suggestions!!??
Next I would suggest Michelin Street Radial and if able to find then Michelin Road 2 (best for wet), Pirelli Sports Demon is quite rare and expensive too, but was one of the best in its time.Fare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world

Re: TVS Apache RTR 180
Using zapper vyde for the rear and mrf FY1 for the front ,both are doing a very good job too. (2900 for the rear and 2100 for the front )Originally posted by vijaybhaskar.ev View PostZapper... Model names please..??The North Eastern Sojourn- wanderlust diary-7000 Kilometers|| Sikkim || Bhutan

Seems most mrf dealers are ripping off the public. Got my FY1 for 1600. Guardex tyres, sanpada.Originally posted by Chris2292 View PostUsing zapper vyde for the rear and mrf FY1 for the front ,both are doing a very good job too. (2900 for the rear and 2100 for the front )

Then chill, nothing to worry about, although if I know RTR right, there would be some oil deposit near the cylinder which can be washed off.Originally posted by Techtarus View PostHAHA.... If you are using TVS oil, get the service done before the 2000kms interval (1700-1800)Fare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world

Getting into 5th gear anything around 50-53 is ok. Further that the bike will feel harsh at 4th gear. 60 at 4th gear(then into 5th) is pretty high for a short geared bike. I do it around 44.Originally posted by prateek2210 View PostAlthough you should have controlled the wrist till the first service. The first service should have been done by 700-800kms . Re: TVS Apache RTR 180
If you rev your bike a lot. Then with tvs oil u need to change them earlier than 2500kms. Tvs oil doesnt last long if you are a spirited rider. I am a slow rider , hardly cross 60 in town & max 85 on highways. My tvs oil lasts for about 1800kms after which there are signs that you need an oil change.TVS Apache RTR 180 (2014 - ….)
